24 year old Purdy to 24 year old Cam Newton. In 13 games Purdy beats Newtons TOTAL stats. Click on it if you want a real good laugh.

10 year old Brock and 24 year old Cam

LOL.
Lol now cam is saying Brady and manning were "game managers"? Lmao does this moron really think he was better than them?

He also said that the niners aren't winning cause of Brock. Well seeing as how cam had 3 winning years in 11 - his teams sure weren't winning cause of him. Lmao

I say it all the time, these players aren't as smart and have the understanding of the game like a lot of fans think they do. He may of not been a burnout by the time he was 30 (supposed to be entering his prime) if he even understood how to manage a game.

He's pretty funny.

He wants people to watch him and talk about him, and so far it kinda seems like you're giving him exactly that.
The people who say cam had no one in 2015 and that cam carried them obviously didn't watch the panther games that year.
- pro bowl running back
-all pro/pro bowl tight end
- 2 pro bowl/all pro o line members (Michael oher was good too).

now the defense! That's the real reason they won so many games.
- FOUR pro bowlers and 3 first team all pro guys
- lead the league in int and forced fumbles
- 6th best ranked defense of any team in the league from 2005-2015
"In addition to those special individual

performances, the group was elite statistically.
Carolina allowed 19.3 points per game during the
regular season, ranking sixth in the league. They
also ranked sixth in yards allowed per game
(322.9).

What really powered their run was turnovers,
though. The Panthers led the NFL with 24
interceptions that season and tied the Redskins for
the league-lead with 15 forced fumbles.
This team probably would have won a ring if they
hadn't run into a buzz-saw in the Super Bowl. The
2015 no-fly-zone Broncos were ranked the top
defense of the decade on ESPN's list.".

cam Newton had a good year, im not arguing that, but he wasn't the reason they dominated and when they needed him most - he sucked, per usual. He threw 75% of his touchdowns in only 4 games of the regular season..

he was a special college player and a dynamic athlete but never lived up to his hype. If it wasn't the mvp that he stole, he would be a massive disappointment.

brady should of won it and the only reason Newton won it over him is cause the teams incredible record. If you look at what Brady had to deal with that year and the stats he put up, incredible. Brady was the only player on the pats offense that year to start all the games.

I've actually never watched him. I don't even know what his podcast is - I'll never watch him like I refuse to read/watch anything with grant in it.

I've just always felt like that was a terrible pick for mvp, even back then. I've always thought cam was way overrated and stole all the glory from his incredible defense. Just like I knew cam would suck in the superboel and bet on it.

...and, case closed. Thank you. You can have the home game.
Why are we debating Cam's resume? It doesn't seem that relevant beyond him being a former NFL QB. Nobody brings up JTO's or Chase Daniels' careers when their opinions get posted here.
U gotta give Cam his props, his marketing strategy was effective.

He successfully planted a virus in niner fans heads as u can tell by his name invading this thread. His podcast alone has gained viewers and subs since he spoke of Purdy.

I have no issue with cam having an opinion, he's allowed to. Regardless of if he played qb or not. I've just been debating with some about how good he was or wasn't. If it wasn't for that bunk mvp he got, it's arguable he would be considered a bust. You may even be able to make a case thay he was a bust regardless.
- 3 winning sessons in 11
- poor stats 8/11 years etc

all or his nfl accomplishments are individual and not team. He had some awesome players around him too.

Lol the best part of paying attention to the gameday thread is that I usually watch on a stream and most are ahead of mine stream - so I always know when we convert or have s big play.
