He also said that the niners aren't winning cause of Brock. Well seeing as how cam had 3 winning years in 11 - his teams sure weren't winning cause of him. Lmao

I say it all the time, these players aren't as smart and have the understanding of the game like a lot of fans think they do. He may of not been a burnout by the time he was 30 (supposed to be entering his prime) if he even understood how to manage a game.
I'm thinking Cam believes a game manager is someone who doesn't make incredible feats of highlight reel variety.

Regardless, I've always thought the reason Brady is the GOAT (or just behind Joe) is precisely because he was the best game manager who ever lived. There is almost always a hole in the defense, and Brady always found it when it was there. No incredible feats, save being impervious to physical and emotional pressure. But otherwise he was great because he executed, which to me is the job of a game manager, and an elite game manager is basically a robot within the system. To me, that's what Brady was.

there is no definition of game manager

to Cam a game manager is someone who stays in the pocket and operates a system as opposed to himself russel wilson Lamar, Hurts etc who makes plays with legs and arm and make more off schedule plays

Seems to be what he means, which then makes the whole argument dumb, since you can win with both ways, and dollars to pesos, winning with your arm and brain works more often.

And lasts longer

the old saying "highlights lie"

a fancy splash play on sportcenter leaves out the 10 horrendous plays...

This is why I never get excited over a college player when they show his highlights during the combine. Of course they're going to show the good stuff and not the bad stuff. Same for the workouts. We know that players shed weight so they can run quicker times and actually train for the combine. They've become illusionists.

That's why I try to find "every throw vs" or "every play vs" such and such team videos rather than highlight reels.
Brock haters at this point just sound like size queens. "MuSt bE 8 oR mORe iNCheS!"
When in reality most women prefer an above average 6 inches that hits all the spots with finesse. A "bedroom managing" unit if you will, but still long enough to occasionally go deep.

Dude,....you got to it before me.

Isin't the "manager" of something a step above everyone else in the department?

Then we're not talking "play managers", "drive managers", or "offense managers",...but entire games.

People take terms, put negative connotations on them,....and force "the regulars" to stop using common sense.

Being an excellent "manager" of something is NOT anything to sneeze at. It's the ultimate compliment.

Yeah, you can't just watch the highlights.

since we are all familiar with Trey, If you watched his film in college - I'd say at least 99% of all his passes were literally wide open. I don't recall him hitting anyone in a tight window - which he may of had a couple but they were few are far between. So how do you even know how a lot of these guys are when a lot of college prospects (mainly at powerhouse programs) have a lot of film like that? Trey isn't the only one.

then I watched stroud play in the CFP and the throws he made against Georgia were incredible. Extremely accurate, tight window, on time, and clutch. That's why i thought he could play in the pros.

He made it relevant by denigrating the subject of this thread. Ring knows this, he's not that dim. All you need to know about Cam is that down by four points in the Superbowl, he decided not to even try to dive on a loose ball that might very well have given his team a chance to win the game. He was always a celf-centered type, and though he was a great athlete, he was mediocre, at best, as a qb.

It's still not relevant. His point was weak and inconsistent on its own, his career doesn't really matter.

Yea no idea why we're chasing around hot takes. I've said 10 times now that the dude just believes he should still be playing,...which is a phase a majority of top athletes go thru @ the end of their career.

If hot takes are on the menu, we certainly have enough of them right here on the forum already.
