With all the info now about the harms of putting tobacco in your mouth, it seems odd that guys who are on a tight schedule to make enough money to live on for the rest of their lives would do that. I know Kocurek dips and I would guess some others do but it is puzzling that anyone would. I have several older friends who have had major dental problems as well as cancer related to chewing.

Like I mentioned I'd guess this isn't a habitual thing for all of them, at least on a day to day basis. Who knows though.

You can see in the postgame video from today's game, released by the Niners. Bosa is clearly dipping, so is Kittle, and you can see Chase in the background pulling one of of a tin.
Pretty obvious they do. It's not a cigar, it takes time to build a tolerance also
Let them calm their nerves with a mouth buzz after the game….playing for Kyle Shanahan is nerve-wracking enough

Yeah, I am from NV, have seen some fked up mouths because of chewing. Lesions and s**t. I tried it once haha, burnt my mouth so bad, I spat it out pretty quick lol. Nicotine is pretty addictive though, I don't think it takes much. I smoked for a few yrs..quit many years ago and never picked up again cause the withdrawals were not something I ever wanted to experience again. Not sure how chew is though. I guess someone can occasionally chew but most chewers I have known, chew daily. Nicotine itself, is a poison really. Can even be lethal at large enough doses. But yeah, it's a little surprising players that put so much effort into nutrition would dip at all. If it is just a celebratory game day dip, then I guess it's just that 🤷‍♂️.

Bill Hicks said it best during a bit about non smokers. He said he'd quit smoking but he was afraid of turning into one of them, lol.

He eventually died of cancer.

In the end these are young men (with lots of money). Even top tier athletes can partake... drinking, fast food, smoking/chewing, etc.

I am not really one of them lol but have come close haha. Yeah, I mean chewing and MLB seemed to have gone hand in hand forever. So, not uncommon with athletes I guess but 🤷‍♂️.

Imagine being the Cardinals and knowing you had this kid in your State and not drafting him even in the sixth round. Arizona high school player of the year in his senior season with guys like Spencer Rattler and Bijan Robinson behind him.
I mean it would be as painful as having guys like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Josh Allen as big fans of your team and not drafting them when you could. It would never happen to the Niners obviously.^^

Seriously, this Brock Purdy story is f**king surreal. He's the right guy at the right place, at the right moment. Never too low, never too high, always humble and honest with himself. It's hard to not like him.
Maybe these guys can be converted to nicotine pouches
I didn't get to see the game but in the post game interviews, all I can think is "how did we get this guy"? and He's so humble and is so business-like. Exactly what we need at this time.

It's not even as close as those numbers make it look.

Was thinking the exact same thing, especially the part where it took Dak HOW MANY more pass attempts?

That and a far easier strength of schedule for Dak.

Yup no question. I literally said that some pages back, Dak played a bunch of tomato cans as Chris Broussard calls it lol

Purdy just managing the game there, spinning away from a free rusher and throwing a TD pass on the run to his left. Hi, Cam

C'mon guys,....let's stop simpin'.

Let the healing process begin and let it go.

What's a mouth buzz?

I'm imagining it would involve 2 heavy chested Brazilian women and a lot of gagging noises so I'm confused what that would have to do with Brock?

well.....So is water.....and likely far less poisonous then many other chemicals these dudes come into contact with on a regular basis.

Depending on what they are chewing ...herbal,normal chew, nicotine pouch....odds are they are no danger of an overdose. Over Dosing on Nicotine was almost unheard of until Vaping become a thing and it is still very, very rare. Most normal humans can withstand more Nicotine then an entire can of chew can provide at one time. Huge humans can take even more.

nicotine is a pain killer and an anti-inflammatory and in some cases is prescribed as medicine. Dr. House had a famous scene about this. He prescribed a patient cigarettes to treat some sort of illness.

it might have a minor effect on the aches and pains or football, but mostly is just good-old boy habits they picked up as kids. I moved from NYC to Texas in HS...and it was a hell of a culture shock...but Dip is stuff Country boys do.

Nice Job Lynch. Still could of used someone like McKinley at Safety or Jobe to compete at the CB position. Career practice squad player with NO potential.

Lmao 🤣
