Stupid but it amuses me so...

How can you take anyone seriously that dresses like that? Give him some clown shoes and a red nose. He looks ridiculous.

I would not be surprised if part of it is bitterness that he's not in the league anymore.

Going back and reading some of the posts in the offseason. "Noodle arm"....."regress to the mean".....

Those were some fun and confusing times in here.

Didn't get to see the rise of Montana but I imagine it felt somthing like this

It was a little different with Montana. He had that great comeback rep at Notre Dame. He had the big comeback game against NO in 1980. When he became the starter in 1981, the Niners didn't have a lot of talent on offense. Dwight was their best receiver and the RBs were average. The young secondary with 3 rookies and Dwight Hicks were the stars that year. They terrorized the league. Then they added Dean and the pass rush became lethal. So for Montana's first SB it was more about the D during the season. He threw 3 INTs against Dallas in his first NFC title game. He only threw 3 more in his next 5 combined and none in his 4 SBs.

Montana's rise was definitely different. His final ascendency was in years 2 and 3 of his career, the 6-10 season in 1980 then of course 1981. We were still dealing with blackouts in 1980, so all we really had was road games, local media and MNF halftime highlights to SEE what was happening.

So, to me, watching 1981 unfold (when I was a HS soph) was A LOT like watching Purdy's coming out bridging the last two seasons.

Completion after completion, TD after TD, win after win, you rub your eyes and almost can't believe it. It feels VERY similar.

Let's appreciate this one more time. Despite of what the 2 announcers said, the defender had no chance because of Brocks accuracy and timing.

This is what I thought Lance could give us in spades, but Brock came in last pick of the draft, I can do that and do it better.

This is our year!

I think I shat myself when Brocky was on the ground and it looked like his legs were unvolluntarily quivering, I thought he got knocked out

It's quite possible that 50% of the fan base threw up and the other 50% shat themselves, all at the same time. Lol I'm sure some a combo of both.
Whoever that long haired dude on Arizona that hit Purdy was, should be fined and cashiered from the league….along with a sternly-worded letter from Goodell—to McKivitz.

The 49ers' 45-point outburst vs. the Cardinals in Week 15 put them at 30.3 points per game for the season. It's not easy to average 30 for an entire year, and this year's club is on track to be the highest-scoring in franchise history.

Through 14 games this season San Francisco has 425 points. That's the 14th-highest total in club history. If they average 30 in their next two games they'll be at 485 points – their third-highest mark ever behind the 1948 and 1994 teams.

In 1948 the team scored a whopping 495 points in just 14 games. In 1994 they set the franchise record with 505 point in their 16 contests

While the 1994 team benefitted from the two extra games the '48 club didn't get, this year's team could also set a franchise record with the benefit of an extra game.

If they do get to 485 heading into the final game, they'd need just 21 points to set the franchise scoring record. Given that they'll likely need to win out to secure a No. 1 seed in the NFC, it's certainly on the table that they continue racking up a record-number of points.
Crazy, I'm used to the defense dominating, never seen an offense like this. I really started watching in the MOOCH era. It seems like records are falling and being set every game with this team.

I think we will have the 1 seed secure by the time we play the rams. But I think darnold can put up 21! The tough one will be baltimore - if we drop 30 on them… that's impressive

I don't want to see darnold in… dudes still terrible. Almost threw a pick 1st pass when he filled in when Brock had a stinger.

I hope we find someone else next year for behind Brock.

True no scary teams..Cowboys aren't scary rn and no Favre! Even if Favre..I think we could beat his ass! LFG

The only thing that will stop this team is themselves (injuries).

So frustrating that they're going to give the MVP to Lamar because he's a great running back. This kid earned MVP in a year where a guy like him can win MVP. Going forward when guys are throwing for 5k yards and 50 tds, a qb under Shanna will never throw that many passes. Ugh, sorry just so frustrating hearing them gush about Lamar puttin up pedestrian passing numbers but he can run.

Lol tbf, I picked after 14-3 or 15-2 after the cowboys game.

cards always play us really well - they're dangerous and a division opponent. Their skill guys are slippery and now with Murray and his slippery ass, dangerous. It almost feels like our guys don't really take the cards that serious every year and it bites us. Lol

I always liked and support jimmy but there are probably 2-4 more games we lose this year based on jimmys mobility and ability to avoid pass rush (at this point). Like the TD to CMC where he fell down would of never happened with Jimmy.

i can feel a 3-4 TD game coming from Brock against the ravens. Our offense is hitting its strides and is healthy down the stretch here. I think we make a scene on national tv on Christmas 😈

The Ravens D is legit though they might have the best secondary and unlike allas and Philly they arent weak at LB Smith an Patrick Queen is the best duo outside of 49ers

this is going to be a tough game

Fook the ravens! Let's see how they do against legit contenders!

all jokes aside, they're probably the toughest team we will play all year - I think that's why we say hargrave and Armstead recently, want them healthy for their running attack.

i think we win, for sure. Special teams worries me. They just lost a running back last night. If the offense can stay on its game, the d plays like normal - no reason we don't win.

it's just Lamar's running ability that stresses me. Maybe winters will play the third LB cause of his speed - he made some really nice tackles yesterday.
