It's a QB award. It's just going to split votes. Neither 49er will get it and it will get handed to Lamar who has stats way, way lower than Purdy. Because he's a great athlete. But he's not having a great year. It's a terrible strategy. It's 49ers fans themselves are trying to sabotage the award. Just a crazy idea.

You're not talking to voters, you're talking to fans. Look at the betting odds. CMC isn't winning the award barring some kind of ridiculous finish. Beyond that, splitting isn't a huge concern as it's a ranked choice system.

Honestly most likely if we beat the Ravens head to head Purdy will win it. Even the Lamar argument will be out the window. Dak is already gone. What will think of next? I just hope he does because I'm so sick of all these haters. He really does deserve it.
