He said that Brock had mono in his JR years and lost 20 lbs and a lot of strength. He thinks that set him back enough that more schools didn't recruit him. I can relate to that. I had mono in my JR year and couldn't take PE for 2 months. When I wa sfinlly cleared I couldn't do half the stuff I normally could. It knocked the crap out of me.

Brock during his "3 game skid" still averaged 254 passing yards per game. 494 divided by 3 games left is 165 yards per game average needed. He is averaging 2.0 TD's per game this season. Over the last 6 games he is averaging 3.0 TD's per game. If he can maintain that 3.0 average over the last 3 games, he will throw 8 more TD's. Possibly 9.

It's a QB award. It's just going to split votes. Neither 49er will get it and it will get handed to Lamar who has stats way, way lower than Purdy. Because he's a great athlete. But he's not having a great year. It's a terrible strategy. It's 49ers fans themselves are trying to sabotage the award. Just a crazy idea.

this is BP and CMC on who should get the award:

This stupid ridiculous strategy is going to hand it to Lamar. Who doesn't deserve it. Check the stats. No way he should win that this year. They need to STOP this and right now.

I'd play my starters (or most of them) for a half. Idk if I'd want the guys not practicing and playing for like 2+ weeks before a big playoff game - wanna keep 'em sharp.
