wonder if we will finally get a 'i was wrong' style update

I'd rather win the Super Bowl and make him own up to his promise to never write about the NFL again.

he won't

He will move the goal posts and set some new unattainable goal.

Probably. But still - Super Bowl win.

Happy family.

imagine that families ride, from watching him nearly go undrafted, to now just dominating the NFL each week
and the major injury also, it's been a roller coaster, they must be so proud
it's like he played TB12, and the torch was passed that day

Agree 💯%, torched was the word.
So I was curious what the production difference was between last year without Purdy and this year with for our Pass Catchers

Yds a game
Deebo +54%
BA +42%
Kittle +24%

Id say he's elevated this team

Marry in to the family?

I can respect a family that's well grounded in religion. I don't think we'll ever have to worry about problems off the field with our franchise QB.

I'd marry his sister just so I can see all his future Super Bowl rings.

Haha. You're a repeat offender @ this point.
talking heads now say lamar is deserving of the mvp

This thread is a litany of all the football "things" Brock does or can do, and i agree with them all…

pinpoint passer,

throws before the receiver breaks,

great faker, great ball handler,

top QBR rating and pass completion % in league,

has 7th sense, much like Joe had when he is about to get crunched

unflappable like joe

But there is one thing no one has noted , which was there the first game Brock ever played for the 9ers. He was put in and already knew the playbook, front to back. This is the cerebral part of Brock, and somehow, it just gets glossed over. Brock knows where each receiver is on every play from the first second to the 2nd second right up until he throws it. He KNOWS where every single guy is supposed to be because he is one smart kid who has the entire playbook deep in his brain pan.

It is at that point that his inherent football skills take over and he rips one to Deebo exactly on the pylon. Ball couldn't have been thrown anywhere else to complete it. Amazing yes, but that is his hand-eye coordination, his football skill set in overdrive. But still , to get there, the "kid" has got to be smart, figure out exactly where the ball has to be, and when…but he knows where every piece is on the board, because besides incredible football skills, our QB, Brock, is one smart cookie.

He comes off looking like a high school kid, "aw shucks" type, but this dude is something else at a very early age. He is smart, humble, with unbelievable football skills and a brain that soaks up a D, analyzes it, and instantaneously makes the correct read and throw. I haven't seen that in a long , long time.
We haven't seen it. But he's here now, he's ours, and we are all on the Brock train. Not to disparage #85, #19, #23, #11, #15 , #44 nor anyone else on the team. John and kyle have built us a powerhouse, but they have also brought us the thing that will get us SB Ws…a one of a kind QB extraordinaire.

Hahaha hey his sister is of legal age.

she would probably just always wonder - does he love me or my brother more?

answer would be - Brock. Everytime.

If Brock does well next week and Lamar doesn't, then MVP talk will shift to the winning QB of the DAL/MIA game.

Part of what they talk about is meant to generate views. Makes sense they're saying this as the matchup comes up - it generates views and clicks.

lamar doesn't have flashy stats but he's been good this year and has his team playing really well.

at the end of the year, I think it'll be Brock, Allen, Lamar as 1/2/3 for the MVP.

OPOY goes to CMC
COTY should go to Kyle but will most likely go to Dan Campbell
EOTY should be Lynch with this monster he's helped construct
I just want dubs, MVP is cool and whatnot but I just want all the dubs
See even George thinks Brock is a game manager.

I don't know if I've ever said this before, but credit to Grant Cohn for seeming to finally come around

"Better to miss on a Day 3 pick than a top 10 pick."

Basically you want BPA with your high end draft picks, and you can get the QB mid to late rounds. Build the team up around the QB. Then you are locked into a team controlled QB deal. We have a window for the ages here.

Thats because Dak fumbled the bag, so the "anyone but Purdy" crowd found a new hope.
