Big trent wants his ring and you can just see how much he loves playing with a savvy guy qb like Brock. It's like he's equally happy for Brock as himself. Playing for a guy like Brock can help extend Trent's career too, but mainly get him his elusive ring.

i think trent is enjoying winning too much to retire, like some think. I think he goes to 39-40. He's that talented and freaky.

I'd love to have Trent's understudy on the team, that says if Trent retires the team will not miss a beat. Or perhaps if Trent doesn't retire, then you have Trent and Trent 2.0 as left and right tackles! Us possibly picking 32nd in the first round probably means we have to hope to do a Brock Purdy kind of pick on that OLine next year. 🥴 Once Trent get's his super bowl ring, all bets are off. The guy should have 70 Million in his bank account if he's saved *half* his contract salary.

Not at all. Did you listen to that clip. He's transitioned the attack from Brock not being deserving to the award being a bad representation of how good a player is. He basically finished by saying that he thinks Purdy will win it, and historically it will be frowned upon when looking back.

Lol, what a douche…

Same way I feel about cam winning it. I think it's a joke. Lol waters down the award but oh well.

Thought that look familiar from Brock last year...

Cam was the best player THAT year. Purdy has an argument for him being that guy THIS year if he keeps his current pace. If Rich Gannon could win it then so can Cam and Purdy

Just need one of those iconic "catches" to propel us into another dynasty

Hoping for another dynasty like the 80s is a little optimistic. There was no salary cap bacl then and no free agency. You could keep the team together so they could just keep improving. That's not the case anymore. Every season there are salary cap issues and players that leave for one reason or another.

I know NE had a dynasty in this era but they had a unique set of circumstances. The weakest division in the NFL for 20 years. Constant coaching and QB changes with all the other teams. A great QB that was willing to take less money because his wife earned more than him. Great HC that always managed to put together good defenses. The Niners play in a better division with 2 other good head coaches. It's unlikely to win multiple SBs in this era. KC has a great coach and a great QB but look how quickly their "dynasty" fell apart. O line is a mess. No WRs.

I'll be happy to win this year and maybe compete again next year. After that Brock will get paid and some high paid players will probably be gone. Williams will retire and maybe Kittle too. Deebo might have to be moved because of salary. This year may be our best chance at number 6.
