1. CMC is very deserving of it
2.it would be a huge win for running backs (specifically the highest paid one)
3. Gives Brock an extra chip and motivation at this young point in his career

This strategy is just going to split the vote and hand it to Lamar or Dak. Just a terrible strategy. Don't split the vote. It's Purdy period.

Yeah he's right of course.

Better clip than what I posted. And perfectly said by Vick.

RG3 has always been very high on Brock Purdy. He broadcasts College Football games and did some Iowa State games. He always called Purdy a baller and thought he was under estimated. RG3 typically builds up Purdy over time if you listen to him. He said early on he thought Purdy was better than where he was drafted.

RG3 knows from personal experience the expectation on a QB in a Shanahan offense. Vick idolized Steve Young and it's on record how much Young told Vick that a proper QB has to run the offense first before relying on one's athleticism; he also QB'd a Reid offense. I'm not too surprised these guys understand better just how good a QB has to be to perform like Purdy has.

Yes they do understand it. More so than SCAM Newton. Who would just try to bulldoze people and outrun players. When he got older, more banged up he couldn't run over people as much and lost some speed. He was never good at reading the field or throwing accurately.

I feel like so many of those "0-38" losses under kyle came under bad QB play. Brock hasn't really been in those situations much and when he has, it's been because of injuries.

i feel really good with Brock at the helm going into the fourth quarter needing 7-10. Eff Lombardi. Lol

Lol what? I said "win" it. Not some hypothetical where they split votes.

I agree PURDY is going to win it.

I read the story about CMC's Christmas gifts to the other players and couldn't help laughing at Brock's comments. I know Brock only makes $870,000 per yer but saying that a set of custom golf clubs isn't in his budget is a little silly. He's clearing at least $450K or more. That's some expensive golf clubs. Even if he has a large house payment I'm sure he could buy his own clubs.

To us mere mortals it sounds a little crazy to hear these guys say stuff like that.

After taxes and agent fees his net salary is closer to $440k.

Stolen from reddit:

"I looked up most expensive golf bags and found some for north of 7k. And they weren't even like Gucci or anything. Again. I'm not saying he's poor but if your net is 200 and you spend somewhere between 70k-150k on gifts for your teammates.. thats a tough spot."

Unless you're someone who thinks one should spend 34% of your net annual income (150/440) on Christmas gifts for your coworkers I don't think we can just say "he's rich enough he should have bought them instead."

This is kind of redundant tho. I wouldnt expect good QB play for a situation where you are 0-38 under it.

Kyle is 1-31 when trailing by 3 or more points in the fourth quarter.
Fun fact: our offense has been so damn good that a kicker doesn't lead our team in points scored. Lol kickers almost always lead teams in points scored but this year, CMC does. Lol that's impressive.

Yeah but 29 of those losses were in 2017.

When you break down those kind of stats, most have to come from our injury filled seasons. 2017, 2018, 2020. Lol then maybe like 4-5 of them come from 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 combined.

Yes sir! Joe didn't do a lot of come from behinds either (although he did some legendary eye opening ones for sure). Usually his teams were ahead in the 4th QTR.

Brock will eventually have those legendary comebacks, as his career lengthens. But right now his team is stacked and won't be falling behind much this year in the 4th QTR.

There are lies, damn lies, and statistics!
