What adjustments do you think should have been made? I blame Kyle less for lack of adjustments and more for him looking at this OL in the offseason and being like "yep, this group is good to go and compete against some of the very best defenses in football!"

I think we will need to see the all 22 to judge Purdy on this one. 3 of the ints came off tipped balls and his arm getting hit.

But we don't see the whole field live so gotta wait on the film to see what he was seeing or did not see.

Based on what we saw live, he was bad but not as bad as the stats indicate

I'm curious too. He was so hesitant to let it rip. To me that means guys weren't coming open. Whether it was scheme, route running, or Purdy not seeing it - will be interesting to get the full picture.

I felt like it was all deeper routes and not many short.

oddly enough a thought I had in hindsight is the limited jimmy g version of this offense would be more effective against that defense. The 5-10 yard routes.

Also their two linebackers are super fast. D probably had an effect on Purdy confidence to get the ball in there. That being said you think he'd be used to that from our own guys but who knows.

in the end Kyle got his ass handed to him.

Agreed. Especially with how shaky the OL looked. Tonight was probably a night to "manage" the game a bit more.
I'm getting Jimmy G PTSD flashbacks.
is was Brock Puto tonight

3 of those picks weren't all him(first one was).

Offense was very sloppy all around and so was Purdy at times. Kyle also had a bad game plan, which is rare, especially since his 2nd half adjustments were also poor.

Next game.

Yep all of this. Us older fans watched Joe and Steve have games like this. Walsh got out coached at times. Ravens whooped our ass tonight. It happens. We hung around though and still kept it interesting. I liked the fight I saw tonight despite all that went wrong. No one quit.

Ya at least they kept trying.

Overall it was just a bad game by the team, and it didn't help that ravens kept getting all the lucky bounces either.

You mean the pass to an open Snead that went over his helmet by about 2 inches that Snead should have caught?

Snead didn't even look for it. I thought it was going to get picked because he didn't seem to realize that he was out there to catch passes.

that's what happens sometime when you are throwing to someone you don't throw to
Snead gets like 6 targets a year, I don't know if I'd be throwing to Snead unless he's WAO as JTO says

Going back to Dallas and Philly last year, Shanny refuses to use misdirection to slow down the rush (counters, screens, traps etc.). One of the main reasons Brock got injured. Many other OCs around the league do this, it's frustrating to see Shanny so stubbornly sticking to his formula.

I'm glad Brock got his trash game out of the way, and this team got their trash game out of the way. I would rather lose now than down the road.
Yeah at least Deebo stood his ground, sorta. The bird Gods said no more to us abusing their brethen

Of course it's this. If Lynch and Kyle put HALF as much concern into this dumpster fire of an O line as they did the most underachieving D line in history, they would have a legit shot at #6. Not even gonna mention the fact they have zero interest in the secondary. If the D line performed to their pay grade, maybe the DBs could be as bad as the ones we have. But that isn't the case and yet again, Kyle gonna be a bridesmaid.

Yep, perfect storm all around against us. And still made it somewhat competitive. Not like we got blown out the way we did to Dallas, Philly, etc. We actually out gained them by 80 yards. -5 on turnovers and 40 more penalty yards is not likely to happen if we play them again.

Weird that so many are acting like scared children because of one tough loss.

They did just that and Baltimore blew them up. The Ravens clearly were well prepared and keyed on the 49ers tendencies and weren't being fooled by any of the usual misdirection or motioning.

I'd like to resign him at this point. Dude is wasting away in Vegas, and this team probably would have overcome his o e interception per game tonight. FOUR? Four interceptions in one game is just……
