I see one WR who can win on routes consistently, JJ is an elite blocker, out last night, but he's our WR3. Deebo is a bit of a wildcard, but I don't think of him as getting a lot of separation. The way we use Deebo, is in the run game, or as a joker, the screen game, just manufacture ways to get the ball in his hands. He doesn't excel dropping back every play and him toasting his matchup for easy completions. Lot of teams have a slot machine, a guy who can play the slot, we don't have a slot WR rostered (as in a conventional slot WR). You kinda need that if you are gonna drop back every play, or comeback in that fashion.
Deebo can and does get separation. Most teams don't have a bunch of elite separators on their roster…you're making it sound like that's normal?
also the slot position overall doesn't require elite separation. They get free releases off the LOS. IMO JJ is more than a blocker, he's got good footwork and there's a reason why a lot of his catches go for 1st downs.
Our receiving personnel is not the issue overall, yes our OL is on the lower end as far as pass-pro goes, they also are towards the top in the league in downfield/explosive plays.
If you think we need a Tyreek Hill like WR…well every team would say yes lol.
Baltimore matches up very well with us.

Fascinating breakdown from @BaldyNFL on how Mike Macdonald's #Ravens defense smothered San Francisco.

You're gonna have a hard time finding a team with 5 INTs (and zero takeaways) that have come back and won a game like that.
Truth!!
