As those of us who have been here for years know, what he moreso exposed was all the failed, forced-indoctrination attempts YOU had regarding the level of a player Jimmy really was here for years.

And he did it damn near immediately!! (See my 1st post ever about his play below):

For those that don't know about Furl,...Furl is desperate as hell to rebound from this Jimmy thing that makes him feel like he had no idea what he was talking about all along.

I mean,...I LOVE football arguments.

The difference here between me and Furl is I want to argue regarding what people REALLY think right now or have REALLY said.

He/She is completely okay, though, with forcing made-up arguments that people have never said.

To me,...fabricating what people have said to drive discussion in a different direction sacrifices the level of conversation.

But he/she is perfectly okay with posting fake news here (QB Competition??!) if it means they'll sleep a little better.

Me not putting him in the HOF yet like you did way too early with Jimmy,... lol... doesn't mean I don't believe him him.

Now,...does my posting history match your comments?

I went to research what my very first opinion was of him in the thread as well as my last opinion of him,... and I saw that I gave him a compliment that I'd given NO QB during Shanahan's tenure.

In my last (most-recent) opinion of him,... I forced the first "compare him to Joe Montana, not really Drew Brees" argument this thread has ever seen.

Why would someone that hates Purdy give him such a compliment after 1 game, actually ask that people STOP harping on his height, and compare him to the ultimate legend in 49ers folklore?

Only thing I see below are the exact opposite of what you're saying.

After Purdy's 1st game....

Now that above is really all that was needed. But I'll finish out the point since he'll otherwise try to come back here again making up stuff :

The evidence I found above is the complete opposite of what you're accusing. Why is that?

Furl,...you gotta get over it dear. You know there are enough distraught Jimmy guys here still for a therapy group? I'll pitch in? #JustAThought

He really learns from his mistakes and I can see his corrections from his execution. Another thing, even though he had 4 interceptions from the Ravens game, there's no sign at all of his confidence being diminished.

I noticed that too. I remember commentators were saying commanders were playing a lot of zone and keeping everything infront of them. It make sense why brock had a lot of check downs. That shows growth and maturity to recognized it and not force it. Just take what the defense us giving you.

Sure but in defense of Random, can we stop using the hater label when someone has a different opinion than yours?

Please and thanks.

I haven't seen you this riled up since I said Brock was playing at an elite level.

WB stands for Wilks Biggest (hater)

on a BP note, I one time referred to a BP game as ok / good, it was the game he got called out by coach for his decision making, and I got the hater label.
With TL I gave my honest thoughts, that his game sucked, and I got the hater label there also, so it happens,

"Lance has legit talent".

Seriously, it's fascinating how people can be so wrong for so long.

My argument was he didn't fit this system and I too was labeled a hater.

pretty simple

Too simple for Zoners to handle lol

Is this the Trey-will probably never play much in the NFL ever again-Lance thread? Or is it..the Brock- noone comes close to his c-k size-Purdy thread? Lol

Lance is a closed book guys and so is his career probably. Brock is just better, deal with it lol. He came in and destroyed competition. I think it's pretty fking awesome.

lol I really don't understand the point in making bold claims like this? I'm sure you said Love blows and his career was over all the same.

Brock is real good, doesn't mean Lance's career is over and he can't play QB in the NFL. Not sure why people still hate on the kid? Super young, legit talent and tons of injuries.

Lol not sure if the Love comment was directed at me but I do not believe I have ever made a comment about Love, neither positive or negative.

I do not hate on Lance at all. I want the dude to succeed. But the truth is, that window seems likely closed. The NFL moves fast, he is a 3rd stringer now, what team is gunna pick this dude up and give him a chance if the 49ers got rid of him like he had the plague? Lol I am exaggerating, slightly, haha. My thought..he will just disappear into the abyss like so many other qbs before him. I could be wrong but..it does not look good.

But anyway..back to Brock and his awesomeness...
