Hope you all are keeping that same energy!
hey, this game was worse than cincy, vikings, cleveland or baltimore. The dude is a machine but he couldn't hit the side of a barn today. Very surprised.
only good thing is, no pickse
He got the game-winning TD drive though when it mattered. Literally the one thing all his critics were asking for "Yeah yeah he can play well when it's going well but when it's not going well and REALLY counts can he deliver? Still haven't seen it!!!"
I better not hear SQUAT about how he didn't play well for the first 3.5 quarters. He may not have, but that's how you answer the one question critics have.
Hey I LOVE this guy. He could be one of the all time greats. Just today, something wasn't working right. Very surprised but he has a chance to show everyone who the real brock purdy is next week
Mad respect to that young packers team man. Love struggled when it mattered most, but boy what a talented team. Their defense became a different animal this last month.
Brock Purdy unbelievably, somehow spots the actor Jonah Hill in the stands. He points at him and asks the guys in the huddle "Hey, isn't that... isn't that Jonah Hill?" They couldn't believe the balls on him. To be that calm, in that game, at that moment.
His guys instantly relax, they march, um... 69 yards. Purdy hands off the ball to Christian McCaffery. 49ers win the Divisional Round.
The entire team looked bad for 3 quarters Brock looked terrible and couldn't seem to grip the ball. Then they somehow found a way to pull it out in the 4th. Greenlaw deserves the game ball.

I think Young was right. Purdy should have played a quarter or two against the Rams. He was so rusty but man did he step up.
I don't think rust was the problem as much as the conditions.
