No, sir. He actually makes plays when it counts.
lol no he does not.

Did you watch the end of the game? Knew his throwing was off when it was wet and got us close to the goal for the go-ahead.

I think Young was right. Purdy should have played a quarter or two against the Rams. He was so rusty but man did he step up.

I don't think rust was the problem as much as the conditions.

Play calling was dumb. Packers could have been owned by a combination of mcaffrey, Mitchell, and mason but instead our head coach decides we should run most of our plays empty set in the shotgun with the rain pouring...

Purdy missed a couple. As would be expected in the rain... He should have been rolled out more and allowed to run more and in space where he could see and less from the pocket...

Also kittle should have chipped and taken a check down like 10x but that only happened like one time.

He got it done without even needing 4th down... And broke a 30 game losing streak of trailing 5+ at the start of the 4th.

you sir are correct. we have the best rb room in the league and no one knows it.
Brock is him that drive in s**tty conditions without deebo… huge confidence booster
Brocks worst game. But he made plays when it counts. Not a game I'll rewatch too often but he checked off some of the lists that haters had. Played and won from behind I'm a bad weather game.
If you still doubt Brock after that last drive, just leave this forum.

I really hope deebo can play next week. It was super disappointing to see him leave the entire game, essentiallyz

It feels like they wanted to run with cmc more but they're concerned that calf injury might turn into something worse. He didn't take too many big hits this game and had 2 tds. Hoping that calf can rest some more now.

He just did what Jimmy never could for us, especially in the playoffs.

the confidence this must give him and the guys is huge. Now they know they can do it, instead of thinking they can.
Brock Fugly tonight. But Purdy in the end (after many shots of Tequila).
There is definitely something with wet weather and him not being able to grip the ball...huge problem going forward if we have to play in rainy conditions.

Perhaps he does need to keep that glove on.

It's not rocket science that last drive the rain ended completely and he balled out. Do we need hope every single game let alone playoff game has no rain??? I'd hate to live that way with a franchise QB.

Same, deebo is my favorite player. He needs to be out there 🤞

Huge… honestly while anxiety inducing, this was a good game for us to have and survive that way. We needed to win a game like that just to know we can do it

Well to be fair to Jimmy, he did have a game winning drive against the Packers in the playoffs in 2021.

Superbowl teams need to build calluses to toughen up. We got humbled a couple of times this season and we clawed into a win in the playoffs. This is good learning experience for Brock.

This is my thought. This is a huge character builder and may just knock some sense into us.
