QB Brock Purdy Thread

More then likly he just really struggles throwing a wet ball. All that matters is that he kept his cool and got it done in the end. This is playoff football. Purdy has us two straight wins away from winning a Superbowl

Yeah but Brock looked like s**t first 57 minutes of the game
love the kid.

Not gonna lie. I was freaking out for 3 hours and praying.

Did it never f**king rain in Iowa?

Brocks worst game. But he made plays when it counts. Not a game I'll rewatch too often but he checked off some of the lists that haters had. Played and won from behind I'm a bad weather game.

Agree, Purdy should have silenced a ton of critics with that last drive.

Yup only thing haters will say is that cmc got the td. But brock made throw after throw when Love faltered in the 4th.

Brock was clutch as hell on that final drive even if CMC got the TD.

THANK YOU!!! EXACTLY what I've been saying since the end of the game!

You wanted your game-winning TD drive when it counted, you got it!!

Dave Lombardi post game YouTube video, saying Purdy turned into Joe Montana at the end of this game. I mean come on I really like Lombardi and what he does covering the team, but good grief dude that's a damn exaggeration. I mean if he was really comparing something Brock did on that last drive to the most iconic play in the history of the NFL he really needs to check his Purdy fanboy-ness.

1981 NFCC - montana bad 3 picks and another fumble before "the catch".

Brock came through when needed most. We passed a lot on that final drive. He did it without Deebo and after a tough tough night, with the season on the line. Sometimes winning in the playoffs is winning how we did. Not every game is a blowout.

that is a very good packers team that surged at the right time. Tonight wasn't pretty, but had a beautiful ending.
Haters all season: "okay so Purdy can play well when things are rolling and they're up by 1+, but can he play well when things aren't rolling and they're missing at least one key player and when they're trailing by 4+ and need a game-winning TD?"

Haters this upcoming week: "okay but Purdy was bad the first 3.5 quarters."

You just know it's coming lmao

Who cares? He did a great job. We're all happy, let us be happy.
Hats off to the Packers though, they f**king played their absolute asses off there's a really good reason why it's called a game of inches.

Honestly, that game was effing miserable. Lol I was miserable and heart broken all game. I really didn't expect us to pull it off after that but run by the packers. Then everything went our way. Amazing

Purdy sucked tonight and still won.

he is 3-1 in the playoffs and the 1 shouldnt count against him.

F the haters!
Last drive would of looked a lot better for Purdy if he threw a TD to take the lead, but still a great drive to have when we needed it most.

Good, f**k them. We have a young qb who overcame adversity and helped lead us to back 2 back NFCC. Wtf is their team doing? We may blow out our opponent next week, who knows. All I know is that our guys came through big time tonight when it seemed super unlikely.

I'm not saying he didn't do a great job when it mattered most. I was just saying Lombardi was too damn hyperbolic in his post game reaction. I usually like everything he says.
Nick Wright will put Purdy at the very very bottom of his Mahomes mountain rankings even below probably five or six college QBs because he's just that much of a f**king dip s**t.
