For sure. At very least Brock needs to take some time on his own and figure it out.

Lol, he def did a good job squeezing through a couple openings last night on those sneaks.

Yes! He squirts through little gaps. Almost as if he went between one of the OLman's legs.

He just springs out of no where lmao. It's hilarious but has been effective. Better than whatever the hell love tried to do.

By playing this way..you mean leading a last minute drive to victory?

Stay on their necks
One thing that was very noticeable was Brock's crappy footwork, he really looked like jimmy with his feet this game. I wonder how much of that had to do with the field conditions. Like if he was worried about slipping - so he was planting flat footed.

Just seemed so uncharacteristic on his part to have that kind of footwork. I wonder how much that contributed to his poor throws throughout the game.

He wasn't the same guy he was against Dallas or for the most part in the second half of the season.
And unlike Brock Purdy, he made a crucial mistake on the last drive for the Packers. Ultimately that's what decided the game.
Love is a young player with not a lot of experience. s**t happens. The Packers and him will be back next season.

if that is the excuse for Love, then it should be the excuse for brock. brock has what - 2 or 3 more games experience than him? maybe 4. both young and inexperienced.

difference is that love has been in the league for 4 seasons and been groomed and had time to master his offense while learning behind a HOF qb.

why does Love get slack and brock gets battered down?

Love went high on his sneak and got to meet Dre up close and personal.
Goff just got lucky with a droppted INT - is he trashed because of it? or is it cool cause he's a first round qb?

Yo, chill

Also I'm tired of improvisational quarterback play. Quarterback play have been s**t these last couple of years and the game is changing right before our eyes like the NBA transitioning to the 3 point shot.

Coaches want quarterbacks to run around and keep the ball alive and make a play. This is not sustainable and quite aesthetically bad to watch. The 49ers and Brock still run actual plays. Timing, blocking and route running are emphasized in the offense. A more controlled style of football rather than your sandlot style quarterback reliant offense. No surprise so many QBs were hurt this year and the previous year.

L

How many times does it need to be said that running QBs do not get injured at a higher rate than pocket QBs for people to finally stop believing running QBs get hurt more?

He's a 1st round pick. So they won't mention it and act like it was no big deal.

Just think we were one failed drive away from arguing about QBs and monsoon conditions for another offseason, lol.

Lol man… I don't think I'd of been able to get on here.

good news is that Brock was able to win in a monsoon during a playoff game. Lance couldn't do it against the leagues worst team in a regular season game.

THATS the difference, IMO.

OMG. Good point Smokey. The WZ QB thread would have been at an all time insufferable mark.

I know someone (from NY) who would have harped on it for the entire off-season.

Yup. People just want to be angry about something....they go as far as make s**t up just to argue.

Sad.
