Ya, it's a night and day difference with Purdy than Lance or Jimmy especially. Kyle's been able to use his entire passing playbook for the first time since he had Ryan. No wonder we spent so much time from 2020- trying to replace Jimmy held back this offense a lot. I wish we got Purdy a couple years ago instead, while he had Deebo and Kittle just playing at insane levels. No doubt we would've won at least one SB with him.
As far as the cap goes, it's going to be very interesting.
If we win a SB this year or next year, you basically pay him that market resetting contract for a QB if that's going to be his asking price and there's no budging. If we don't win it, he's definitely not going to get that contract.
