You're out of character homie. This post is too coherent.

Of course not! No one wants to win the MVP and not even make it to the Super Bowl. Ask 7x GOAT Tom Brady! So listen to Cam. But you also have to acknowledge the other great QBs that actually won a Super Bowl!

It is a fair assessment to compare Lamar and Cam, both running first qbs that took time to develop a passing game. For Cam to even speak on Purdy name, Purdy already has more playoff wins than Cam. Cam was 3-4 overall in playoffs! Sorry Cam, Purdy is getting better and made the SB in just his 2nd season.

A QB who can't manage a game can't win in the NFL. Just ask Cam Newton who had losing seasons 8 out of 11. Often sandwiched between the few winning seasons. Oh, wait, Newton, the glorified running-back, never understood that.

Brock Purdy is a game manager who can flick the switch to a game changer when necessary as he has in the last two playoff games.

SCAM didn't even deserve that MVP. I believe Brady was better. I don't think he ever even had a year as good as Brock_STAR. Warren Sapp told him what's up.

He had a great year. 35 TDs, 10 INTs, close to 4000 yards. And 10 rushing TDs 600+ yards...

Obviously what he's saying is stupid, but he's an even better year than Brock lol. Brock can now have a better year by finishing it off with the SB

Yep, no one can deny the excellent football season he had, no need to discredit him as a player. Doesn't mean he's a beacon of logic and reason however, and it's not unprecedented for a great QB to say some very uninformed things. I won't name names but one that comes to mind rhymes with Karen Dodgers.

Why can't they be on an island themselves with this partnership? #4 How many people were drafted into a good situation, handed the keys to a Ferrari, but can't drive an offense and use those weapons? Some of it is the coach (like Raiders with Davante Adams), but most of it is the player's inability to perform. Tribusiky, Z Wilson, Daniel Jones, Mac Jones, the list goes on.

Ya, it's a night and day difference with Purdy than Lance or Jimmy especially. Kyle's been able to use his entire passing playbook for the first time since he had Ryan. No wonder we spent so much time from 2020- trying to replace Jimmy held back this offense a lot. I wish we got Purdy a couple years ago instead, while he had Deebo and Kittle just playing at insane levels. No doubt we would've won at least one SB with him.

As far as the cap goes, it's going to be very interesting.

If we win a SB this year or next year, you basically pay him that market resetting contract for a QB if that's going to be his asking price and there's no budging. If we don't win it, he's definitely not going to get that contract.

And Lamar doesn't deserve it this year.

Yeah I agree.
The only downside I can see to CMC winning MVP is they will say "see Brock Purdy is not even the best player on his own team." You will have to listen to that the entire offseason, preseason, and into next season for quite a ways. Of course I would rather win the game and get the Super Bowl trophy. Running CMC probably is the best way to do that.

But if at all possible it would be great for Brock_STAR to win Super Bowl MVP. Because then he's a Super Bowl winner, beat Mahomes and Super Bowl MVP. Even the biggest haters would have to shut the hell up then. Which would be great.

If Brock wins MVP, they'll still use that same narrative. If anything, they'll lean in for clicks during the offseason.

What narrative would they be left with though? He's on a good team? LOL. They got nothing left if he wins Super Bowl MVP. Which is one reason I hope he does it.
I'm team Purdy for years. We need to stay behind him no matter what happens and let him grow. Good QBs careers die in a negative environment.

Wow that's horrible. Imagine what a boring and pathetic life that must be? At this point I just feel sorry for this guy
He's not a boy anymore. He's the Big Brock Dog!

Brock spent his entire offseason with surgery and rehabilitation! This season was an amazing accomplishment.

I'm a big Brock guy my only concern is the wet ball conundrum. Playoff ball is played in rain and snow and we can't realistically expect home field for every game and a cozy dome if we do make the Bowl. I hope he and Kyle and staff can get it mitigated.
Hopefully Brock practices with wet balls

He has to practice with the glove in the off season. When we have time. It's better in wet conditions. You can't be so quick to take it off. Just get used to it. Kurt Warner used to play with it. Others too. It's a matter of getting used to it and not taking the glove off too quick.

Dunk a ball in cold ice water. Turn the sprinklers on. Put the glove on and throw the ball around. Practice it and see what you can hit and how the grip goes. He just has to get used to that through practice. I think he can do it if he becomes more comfortable.
So, back to the fact that A.I. captions call Purdy 'Brock pie'. If Brock were a pie: Savory would be Shepard's Pie, obviously - because he's a meat and potatoes type guy, +Jesus. And if Brock were a Sweet pie: Apple, obviously - because he is as American as apple pie +Jesus. Sometimes A.I. captions go with Brock birdie. If Brock were a bird: obviously Dove because of Jesus. Go Niners!
