Tons of praise for Brock. Spags said Brock was slicing up KC's zone and forced him to switch up the game plan. They pivoted from Purdy to attacking the OL/WRs with their pressure packages/press-man coverage.

We're really fortunate to have Brock.

That was very impressive. And like Reid, he sure knows where to attack. Tip of the cap. Thanks for sharing.

You can see why Reid just turns everything over to him so he can focus on PM and the offense.

Hopefully Kyle finds something similar here and can refocus 75% to offense some day. I don't think he'll ever just turn a full unit over to a DC...he'll remain involved on some level, IMHO.

Spags wanted to tell Brock to force a trade to Denver so he would have a coach who knows what a pass scheme is and would take advantage of his skill set. A zone running gimmick coach is going to ruin him🫤🫤🫤🫤🫤🫤

Just further reiterates how badly upgrades are needed to the OL. You have a seasoned DC with 4 SB rings saying "yeah we pretty much gave up on trying to fool the 2nd year QB and instead went after everyone else around him."

Fixing the OL fixes virtually everything else on offense. Run and pass game both improve. Receivers more time to get open and be seen by Brock.

Funny how Reddit and even half of this site is trying to spin this as a negative for Purdy.

"They wanted Purdy to throw because they know he sucks!" No. They wanted Purdy to throw because they know they had the pass rush and secondary to hang with our OL and playmakers.

Why is the average NFL fan so dumb?

This

Agree. I stand my my statement taking anything other than OL early is stupid. If BPA is other positions, trade down and double dip at OL. This offense could be white hot with top notch pass protection.

we lost the Super Bowl, but at least their DC really likes our QB.
After decomposing from the Super Bowl and crying for a couple weeks lol I gotta say man, we are only one really good OL away from a Super Bowl victory

Think about the information sources. 24 hour NFL news cycle of mostly garbage.

It shows we least have the right one. Makes it even more obvious what needs to be done.
Spagnuolo loves Purdy. Dude even got Brock's number to reach out to him.
