Don't jinx it like you did with Trey

Did ppl say Trey was gunna win the big one?

Yea it's a little worrying when a Trey fan is excited about a QB. I think he got it right this time though

Wanting to see more from Trey was what most "Trey fans" wanted. Just like a lot of us wanted to make sure Brock's play as a rookie wasn't a flash in the pan.

At this point it's kind of silly to overlook what Brock has done, especially with the way he's played in the playoffs. The few questions left are somewhat out of his control. There are things that will come with just more experience and weather related play which is the biggest question mark with him but he answered some of that in the GB game.

One question I have with Brock is that once he gets his bag, will he start living a lavish lifestyle where he splurges on fancy things like diamond grills, making it rain in strip clubs, or chrome spinners for his tractor.

My money is on spinners for his tractor.

It was clear there was something to Brock. He just plays the game so smooth. I thought it was absurd to want to see Trey again after watching Brock

Period. People claiming anything else was a major strawman.

In terms of Purdy, for me it wasnt so much that I was concerned his play as a rookie was a flash in the pan or not sustainable. It was more that I was unsure how he would come back from the injury. At this point, Brock has done enough to prove to me that we should feel comfortable and confident in him moving forward.

No way. he'll use the money to be a provider for his family, move into a good home, and the rest will go toward a blinged out chain that says, mr relevant

Kyle didn't want to see more

wtf are you talking about? It literally ended. If you can't follow the flow of a conversation then don't post.

Brock was coming off a major injury to his throwing arm and had a handful of starts under his belt. Nobody knew what he could be with 100% certainty, even Kyle didn't which is why they kicked the Tom Brady tires.

That's fair. Brock looks like he's going to be out there racing John Deere tractors and cow tipping like crazy. We'll need someone to baby sit the kid.

Yeah it was like there's a small chance he could become competent in 6years or so like Alex/Geno, but I'm not waiting that long for the possibility of getting Alex or Geno lol

Right. And it's also why they signed Sam Darnold. They were done with the idea of developing Trey and it couldn't have been more obvious.

That's why the argument around 'wanting to see him play' fell so flat, There was no practical way that was actually going to happen without Brock being injured and Trey showing he was the best option in the short term.

Good point. If it can happen to Kirk it can happen to Brock
