Then he wilted under the pressure of expectations. Then Kyle would only trust him to throw 8 passes in a playoff game. Then he wilted in the 4th quarter of important games. Then Kyle wised up and came to believe he had to get a qb he could trust in the playoffs. Then he got a lifetime promise from a LV hooker. Then he got a job as a, wait for it, Backup.

Then Kyle prays at the foot of his bed every night before he goes to sleep that Stafford goes down.

Then we get VI.

People love to cite that 5-0 performance but completely glance over the fact that he was pretty awful in nearly 3 full games before he tore his ACL to start 2018. He's a turnover machine.

Nobody held him accountable in those 5 games with little time to prep. Kyle held him accountable to what he was taught after that. He wasn't smart enough to play that game.

picking up where you left off when it comes to early extreme takes.

Brock is a generational player already? Why not allow the kid to actually grow into that?

He is definitely trending in that direction. I feel like we can win any game when he is in. I haven't had that feeling since young. He is a leader and a fighter. He has balls of steel and is football smart. Now I take that over turnover bonehead who gets happy feet at the hint of pressure any day of the week and definitely 2x on Sunday. Jimmy was pure trash.
I wouldn't say Jimmy was pure trash lol ok well..he really sucked as a Raider bad lol. I don't really want him back lol.
This is the Brock Purdy thread. Back to that.

Brock gonna be a intellectual beast with all the niformation he has learned over the last year.

We gonna see Brock up there in MVP discussions every year for his playing life.

Jimmy did what Brock did in his career, just that Jimmy took 10 years to do it, but Brock did it in two.

Agree with Giedi on both counts. Credit where credit's due and we see what we see.

Jimmy's biggest problem was not being able to stay healthy. Thats what Kyle's biggest reason was for trading up for Trey Lance.

Jimmy's other problem was his lack of mobility specially after his knee injury.

Purdy is Jimmy but just a much higher level at every dimension in terms of Quarterbacking, Durability and mobility.

💯%

Folks who say wait and see, don't watch 49er football. Because if they did, they'd see what *we* see.
