It's not a serious argument to say Nick Mullens = Brock Purdy. No serious debate could argue this. Nobody who ever watched both of them play could honestly believe this.

And that's an opinion from a 49er fan. I think he's a good young QB who has room to improve.
I like what I see in him but as you say he has room to improve. He's not the prototype QB with a big arm or great running ability. He has to do it with his eyes and brain. I just can't put him in the elite or franchise category quite yet. Some people may think he's already there but I want to see 2 or 3 years of the type of play we saw last season.
