QB Brock Purdy Thread

You see the potential in Brock each game. Plays he makes that seem different than most QBs... as well as making the ordinary play...look ordinary.

You can also see he is still learning.

We just have to keep him healthy, as well as continue to remind him how to protect himself...and why it is important.

One thing I'll I was impressed with is his conditioning. He did a lot of running around, and still look fit... confident in making a pass.

I know that's expected from NFL players, and QBs.. but it's not always guaranteed.

Brock played phenomenal. It's just too bad his receivers other than Jennings vanished.

How anyone is blaming Purdy is crazy.

He was great today with bad protection and a ton of drops.

He needs to learn to find a way to finish these games but he and JJ were really the only guys who played well today. He is the very least of this teams problems. That includes coaching.

What is he supposed to do, run down the field and also catch the pass that hits him on the hands for his WR, too?

Hit Aiyuk.

Watch the play, he didn't have time to reset his feet.

The NFL just put up the QB stats, minus the KC/Atl game.

Purdy is 2nd in total yards, 9 behind Dak.

72.6% completion is 3rd.

8.9 yds/att leads the league by a wide margin.

44% of the passes result in 1st downs, again a wide gap to #2.

109 rating is 3rd in the league.

Not bad for a guy playing sandlot ball.

are all those stats from the 4th quarter only? not gonna get us to a 6th like that bro

That includes the 4th quarter.

he bought them a few years but it's beginning to unravel quickly. Just an awful trade

You D am right. If not for Purdy Lynch and Shanny would be the laughing stock of the NFL. They squaundered that 3rd pick and gave a ransom to do so, their first round picks have been terrible. Bosa was great his first few years but now its like hes on a milk carton.

Aiyuk is a disappointment and just that the big payday. Clearly he's not as good unless Deebo and kittle are occupying other defenders.

While your right about his number totals, according to the site I use your off on the rankings.

# 2 in passing Yards
#7 in Comp %( although this is a close margin and two of the players ahead of him, only played twice so far)
#2 in YPA( Carr is ahead of him by .2)
# 5 in rating
#6(tied) TD passes.
Only 1 Int

Still amazing considering the drops and all the injuries. Too bad it is being wasted by our defense.

MM put it perfectly

Purdy and JJ did everything they could to rescue this team and prevent this kind of embarrassing loss.

Give up a 14-point lead and lose? embarrassing.

Might have to replace sorensen with staley soon
That would help if the players weren't the main issue.

Campbell, yiadom shouldn't be playing
