QB Brock Purdy Thread

Do not paying Purdy huge $. We can find a lot of QBs who throw three picks and zero TDs against the Chiefs.

If we can get him cheap ok, if not he walks.
Since no one wants to believe me, go to the 1:08 mark of the post game presser and hear Kyle say hat 2nd INT was on Brock.

Good find. I thought that one wasn't on him. Purdy really played poorly

I believe you he did not play well today and I expect him to admit it at the podium.

there is no difficult position. The qb market is skewed towards qbs heavily.

I'm trying not to overreact. Purdy played like absolute sh** today. That much was obvious. He cost us the game, easily.

I'm looking at the other top QBs and they all have had games like this though. Josh Allen had two awful games like this last year, both close losses where he had 3 and 4 turnovers in each.

Dak threw two pick sixes in the playoffs. He's thrown a massive amount of scoring position picks this year.

Purdy has been horribly inconsistent this year, that's the biggest issue. And the problems have been primarily individual.

A great QB would be doing whatever it takes to win, sometimes that means just eating it for a sack, taking the easy completion, or throwing it away.

Mahomes was almost as bad today. 154 yards 2 int, no td's, to add to the context

Plain and simple he has sucked. No contract for you

Mahomes played a lot better. one int was just a great DL play. the other a WR fell down

Brock has no arm strength.

The two Long plays to Kittle and Cowing should have been touchdowns but Brock underthrew on very soft passes.

Definitely a couple examples of the real limitations he has with the arm. Even the 2nd pick… which was clearly an incorrect route by Bell… he's having to throw it very early, with a lot of anticipation, to make sideline throws work. It works when you have players dialed in, not so much when they are replacements.

The offense was abysmal today. Brock was too. Kyle's end of first half management and playcalling did them no favors, and they looked way too sloppy from the jump, with extra time coming in.

Ha, Kyle Shanahan just burst the bubble on that. He just said in his presser that it was not on Bell, Brock just missed the throw and it was 100% his fault.
can't believe it, way too off.

I can believe Brock screwed up the read while Bell made the correct route adjustment, but there's no way Brock meant to throw it to where Bell ran to. I'm not buying he was just that inaccurate there. It would be his most inaccurate throw of his career by a mile (at least om plays he wasn't hit on). In Brock's mind he threw that expecting Bell to run up field, I guarantee it.

You can choose to buy it or not but Kyle Shanahan said it was on Brock.

It's still on Brock if he was wrong about where he expected Bell to run to.

Lol lots of Purdy dissin but dude, dnt forget, we didn't have three WRs, no CMC, Mason is playing so-so. On top of that, our o-line blows..defense missed tackles. It was a hot steamy mess

Not hating on Brock, but the difference in him this year has been obvious since game one.

Not everything can be a strike, have to respect what the D is giving you.

Even Mahomes went through the same thing. Easy to forget that after his 50TD season DC's started testing his patience and forced him to go down the field 5-10 yards at a time.

He learnt to overcome that and hopefully Brock will too. It's just unfortunate for this roster that it's looking more and more like a Brock growing pains season.

I believed you. I just wonder if Brock would say the same thing if given truth serum. Based on his on field reaction I wouldn't think so, but I also doubt he'd do anything but take blame when asked.

It's one play anyway. Brock had two other bad picks, multiple missed opportunities, looked very uncomfortable. Not a good day.
I don't hate Brock but they cannot be forced into a long term deal because no one else. The next off season gonna be like a TMZ special.
Brock just admitted he made that mistake on the 2nd int.
