If the lecture was about his INTs it was warranted.

Brock should be sat down for a week vrs Dallas

It is time that the young man understood what a good old fashioned "benching" is.

f**k no.

The only team coming off of a more embarrassing loss than this is probably the Cowboys who s**t the bed on Jerry's birthday last week.

I don't anticipate us blowing them out. Going to be a close game. Cowboys and every team that we face moving forward would be smart to use the same defensive gameplan that Spags has been using.

They can use the strategy, but gotta have the guys to execute it, too. Dallas defense is certainly not the Cheifs' D personnel wise.

Yea, that is true. But in general I think this type of scheme is what bothers the 49ers and there's no reason for anyone to try anything else til we can figure it out. Would be good for the 49ers/KS to create scheme up some man beaters during the bye week.

Max we would have got from that drive is 3. KS can't figure out what to do against teams who can play press man and send blitzes.

Problem is he built the team around Jimmy G. It's going to take time to transition to more of a pass blocking OL and route runners who can get open vs man coverage.

Blaming Purdy for any of that is absurd. He's doing the best he can with a flawed roster and egotistical coach who won't let his players improvise. Can't scheme your way to win against every team in every game.

Sometimes the players just have to make plays. Reid leaves room for that and encourages it. Kyle despises it.
Brock "pop gun arm" Purdy.
Purdy deserves a coach that knows how to beat man coverage.

It's not the coach. We don't have the players. Yet. Need more reps for Pearsall and Cowing. They showed flashes today.
Purdy can't throw a pass hard enough even when players are open.

Yup, Cowing beat his man for that deep route, why didn't we see him more?

I'm not sure. I've been wondering this all season.

Many considered Aiyuk/Deebo/Jennings one of the top WR groups in the league. Rookies aren't gonna get a lot of playing time over those guys barring injuries. Today you had all three out.

Purdy shoulda had two TDS to Kittle and Cowing but both throws were too soft and slow.

Purdy has a "pop gun" arm at best.

Even when they've all been in, the only one having success vs man coverage was Jennings and that's due to his size. None of them create separation themselves.

I agree, but they all had real solid seasons last year. Usually when a veteran unit has shown to be quite successful they are given a longer leash to push out of under performing. Obviously that didn't happen and today all three were out in the second half. With Aiyuk gone for the year the younger guys will be asked to step up more going forward.
