Especially in the red zone.

Brock is having to make excellent throws nearly every time, no help from YAC, mediocre run game at best, below average pass pro, all his stars are out or lingering injuries.

theres only so much a qb can do and with that setting, usually tries to over compensate to make a play. That's the only time I see Brock made a poor decision, for the most part.

Early struggles big time, then settled down and started making strides.

I was ready to say that he ended the game stromg but that bootleg throw attempt got me hot. And gave me ptsd from Dallas playoff game when Jimmy went and threw a pick for no good reason rolling right

This is the type of stuff you just don't do. I get that you really wanted to convert, but it ain't there. That was a disaster averted because cowboy player didn't catch it.

I remember why I don't post in gameday threads very much. We had posters saying they were done with Purdy, that he is a terrible QB, and some were even calling for Dobbs to play.

This board never disappoints. Purdy is locked in as a top 10 QB. If you don't think so, you simply don't pay attention to other teams.

He has wheels which make him serviceable

But top 10 no way easy to come up with 10 names better than him

Sf going thru something we're there like if he is worth 50 million he needs ti make bigger throws so they call him he can't do them. So they go back to quick throws run game

If Darnold was better, who would be the Niners QB right now exactly?
Every guy that went to Training Camp last season said that Purdy was just way better than all the other QBs. And that was him coming from an exploded elbow.
Brock Purdy is an excellent young QB and should be the guy for the Niners.

He was bad last week, really bad and sure it wasn't his best game against Dallas but with pressure on him he had a good game overall IMHO.
All the QBs have bad games in a season. The good ones are those that have a good game right after a bad one. And that's something Purdy proved after his game against the Ravens last season and this season against the Seahawks and the Cowboys.
I've seen a lot of QBs wearing the Niners jersey. Purdy is the best one since Jeff Garcia and quite frankly considering his age and experience he's better than Garcia already.

Cousins is good but overrated. He would not improve the team. On top of that, he is not able to carry an offense.
Mayfield, lol. Mr. Inconsistency. If he were that good, the Browns would not let him walk.
Mahomes, yes, very obvious.
Allen, yes, very obvious as well.
Dak...together with Cousins one of the most overrated. I would even consider Cousins the clearly better QB. You won't win important games against competitive teams with him, on about 8 out of 10 occassions.

didn't watch the game for a second but given the stat line Purdy delivered. I don't need a MVP performance every week, just win it on a consistent basis.
