If I am 49'ers management, I would want a couple more years to evaluate Brock. I think a 2 year $40 million deal would be fair.
Yeah this was crazy

He also got bailed out by Banks recovery on a double clutch fumble. A bit of both luck and awareness of both guys.

Both teams had some major luck avoiding a couple turnovers.

Dallas had two fumbles they jumped on. Purdy the deflection and empty hand fumble.

Dafuq!!! He gave you 1.5 seasons of solid play, along with how clutch he is in the playoffs. More so than a Kirk Cousins, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. He's earned every dollar of the $60 mil a year contract that's coming his way. If you need more time than, it just shows you haven't been watching the 9ers these past couple of years!!

I have been paying close attention. Unfortunately, you do not get paid based on what you have done in the past. Look at what happened to Colin Kaepernick. This year Brock so far has played okay. We are lucky to be in a bad division. I think giving him 20 million each year for the next 2 years is pretty fair.

Um yes you do get paid on what you have done in your rookie contract or previous contract. Which is why players holdout. Tell me, did you think Aiyuk got paid for this season or what he did the two previous seasons? Did Trent Williams, CMC and Nick Bosa holdout for what they were gonna do or did they holdout for what they did?

You don't make sense bro.

Not to mention Brock has been the leader in numerous categories and not just last season.

To be fair, your post implied that he had done enough in 1.5 seasons to deserve that big money deal… almost as if what happens this season doesn't matter.

He can play himself out of that kind of contract this year, and possibly next depending on what happens this offseason.

It's not Shakespeare level writing but I still think the point was clear.
