yeah, this thread tends to think he's better than mahomes, and when it comes time to pay the man, he should take $20m a year and call it good

Ooo, Kyle likely fired after 2025 huh?! I can't see the future so I can't say it won't happen, but I highly doubt it. Unless he goes scorched earth and has it out with Jed, I'd say his job is safe until he misses the playoffs multiple years in a row and the whole team implodes. He catches a lot of heat for not winning the Super Bowl, but they played a lot of good football to even make that many deep runs in the playoffs. Every other team in the league has a Chiefs problem, not just us. If any number calls or plays go another way, we could have at least 1 Super bowl win; sometimes that is just the way the game goes. I doubt Jed would plunge this organization back into the days of hiring a new coach every year because a bunch of fans were heart broke about being so close, but not winning. I get it, I have PTSD too. But there are many other fan bases that would enjoy watching deep playoff runs as opposed to their season being over by week 6. There are probably 25 other owners/GM's that are praying that Kyle gets fired so they can hire him to do like Andy Reid did, and get over the hump, winning multiple Super Bowls with the next team.

Niners to bounce back next year and then obviously Brock to be signed long term.

There is no way this will happen. You have to think about this logically.

Your two statements are in contradiction of each other. If you think the shanahan regime is in jeopardy why would they risk a losing season.

Your not going to risk Brock holding out if you think your jobs on the line. Because you have no other good option. If you think your jobs on the line you might as well just give him a blank check because you don't want any turmoil that might cause another losing season ...

Yes, quality FA players will be breaking down the door to play for a team that treats their star players like that.
