MUCH quicker. Jimmy played with urgency. He didn't always make the correct decision, but he rifled through his reads. Brock makes a presnap read and if he realizes it's not there, he holds the ball until the cows come home.

Just as I thought. You can't actually argue with the facts so you resort to pointless, dismissive snark. Anybody can do that.

Haha, Joe says the sky is blue. LOL.

See? It's what people do when they have no argument.

YOU didnt argue with facts. LOL. Not a single thing you posted in that wall of text was a fact. Just baseless and/or biased opinions.

Given the name I feel like this is an account made for a purpose but Ill take the bait

Pristine pocket
Jimmy rifling through reads and doesnt hold the ball and doesnt freeze up. Amirite ?

I think you're failing to see the point. If Brock Purdy is that much better, that would mean this team should be better right? Never mind this season because Brock hasn't been good and the excuses of him not have this guy or that guy is getting old. In theory, this team is better with Brock than Jimmy, so why aren't we seeing the results of him being that much better? What's better than getting to a Super Bowl and losing? Getting to one and winning. Both got to the big game and lost, so I don't think anyone can say definitively that this team is worlds better with Brock than with Jimmy. Marginally? Maybe. Not better enough to win it all.

No, thats just incredibly stupid logic.

Youre comparing a 2019 team with Jimmy versus a 2024 team with Brock

You cant even compare different year players in individual sports like Tennis or Boxing, and you're doing it with completely different football teams that each carry 53 players and like ten coaches.

There are like two returning starters on defense from that 2019 team, and like three from the offense right now. Fred and Bosa. Juice, Kittle, Deebo.

Using that logic, you will end up making ridiculous statements such as Jalen Hurts being an inferior QB to Nick Foles

This isn't the same team that JG played on. Teams change every year. This team's defense is nowhere near as good as it was when JG played.

Mostert carried Jimmy to a sb and was better than cmc in the playoffs. How is that possible? Is cmc just not that good? He's certainly not better than Mostert, right?

The only things Brock has on Jimmy now is durability, mobility, and attempting vertical throws. Jimmy had a much quicker release and was a quicker processor.

imagine opening with that first line and following that up by saying the latter. jesus f**king christ.

Imagine thinking that the guy who ran around for 20 seconds against the Rams after not throwing to a wide open Aiyuk on a busted coverage is a quicker processor than a guy who was pretty much never sacked on a blitz during his entire time here.

Do you guys not know what "quick processing" means or something? It doesn't mean predetermining where you're going to throw the ball and then throwing it when a receiver is halfway up his stem. Have you noticed how many receivers have been running the "wrong route" since Purdy took over? Why did that not happen with Jimmy? Gee, I wonder.

Really? So it's not a fact that Mahomes was 29th in air yards per completion last year, as well as 31st in air yards per completion this year?

It's not a fact that Purdy threw way behind Jennings on the touchdown at the back of the endzone against the Rams?

It's not a fact that Purdy has been underthrowing tons of deep balls this year?

You can't address anything I said because you have no argument.
