Patience is wearing thin with this hesitant b******t

really?

Yes really. He played better as the game went on. Needs to be better imo
the game would def have been different if he hits some of his wide open guys, like the Juice wide open for TD

I don't disagree but the question is why is he not seeing this when the last two years he did?

He is having free rushers coming at him all the time. He does need more time than just the 5 step drop and then run for his life

Nothing about Purdy's play is safe.

Idk how anyone can watch him play and come to that conclusion lol

Played a good game, that throw to Kittle

Yeah, he played a really good game. That throw to Kittle was great and the improvisation before that was awesome too. That's exactly the type of play Jimmy G couldn't do anymore after his ACL tear and Purdy is clearly an excellent scrambler, way better than any QB Kyle had since RG3. Sure, I could have done without the fumble but s**t happens and Jennings recovered it. He didn't lose the ball against the Cowboys when he was sacked in the fourth quarter IIRC and I still don't know how he didn't. And Purdy was clutch at the end on the last drive with 41 second left IIRC.
The team won at Tampa Bay against a team that could be a contender for the PO in that division, Brock Purdy had a really good game, I'm more than happy today.

This is exactly what I'm wondering too. Teammates in the past said they had to start expecting the ball on any play because he'd throw it if he saw it open.

He had no time to see that one. Get the guy better, more consistent pass blocking. That and better run defense inside should be the main goals for the offseason, however things may turn out.

Agreed. I wish someone did a video breakdown with all the open receivers Purdy has missed. I know he did it some last year (the big one in the Super Bowl for example), but it's a degree or two worse this year. Not sure if missing the open guy has more to do with the secondary coverage and then the resulting pass rush making Purdy scramble but whatever it is Kyle needs to figure it out and help Purdy find the open guy. Perhaps it is a defense scheme reaction thing to what the 49ers have traditionally done on offense which now will force Kyle to change the progression of receivers Purdy looks to hit. I don't know but clearly Purdy is having trouble finding his open receivers.

Pearsall is looking good. Right now him and JJ are the top two receivers. Can't believe we are doing this good without BA and Deebo playing "ok" as long as Kyle stops running him.

BA wasn't really 'here' this season, so the team was forced to adjust.

Played a good game not great. The stats say otherwise, but Purdy did not have a good first half if you watched the game (don't look at raw data folks). He came up big in the 4th no doubt but almost pissed it away with that ridiculous fumble. He's had some trouble holding on to the ball this year. He's always swiping sweat off his hands pre snap. I don't know why maybe his hands are small and he has a hard time gripping it. I think I read somewhere that you need a minimal 9.25 inch hand size to grip an NFL football properly and Brock's hands are exactly 9.25 inches…

edit: PS - I think Mahomes also has 9.25 inch size

I like Brock so much. I really do, but here we are with another QB where you could easily steer the conversation in one direction or another. Those were some sneaky yards yesterday as the game sure didn't feel that way.

He really is not seeing the field as he should. You can blame the OL but we are more than half way thru the season and this conversation has come up multiple times.

Hopefully the entire team gets it together.
If you think Brock had an "okay" game, you didn't watch Sunday Night Football.
