The protection does him no favours, but I think some of that Is down to him holding on to the ball for too long? That being said, I thought he had a good game overall yesterday and that Td pass to Kittle was a thing of beauty.

I'm not saying Brock never holds onto it too long but I'd wager a good amount of the time he holds longer is cause no one is open - our skill guys have been horrible this year at getting separation.

couple poor separation with poor pass pro and it's a bad recipe.
guys are open, thats the issue.

Brock has the highest TTT stat.

I highly doubt that Brock is not throwing to the first two reads and they're open. If that's true, it's cause he is pass rushed.

that said, if the 3-4th open is getting open and he doesn't have pass pro, then guys aren't actually open. Play design and the way he's coached up to execute it comes into play.

once again, Brock isn't perfect - but if he guys are open and Brock isn't hitting them, I guarantee you there is more to it than Brock is just being gun shy.
The film is there, guys are open. He's just not seeing the field as he used to or not moving on to the the next read sooner.

I'm sure there are plays he may of missed someone but once again, it doesn't really matter if the third or fourth option eventually got open but the o line got its ass beat and he couldn't go through his reads properly.

overall, it's hard to judge if he's missing open players when we don't know how he's supposed to execute the play. Brock is known to execute the plays as they're designed and he's directed to. It would be shocking if all a sudden he was out there being mindless and ineffective.
if he's waiting on his first read then he's not performing as he should. He had no issues the last two years moving through progressions quickly

Being at the top of the list with TTT, he should be killing it
Brock knows he's missing guys, glad he's aware and upset about it

He's saying he has make this throw. Maybe he's referring to missing reads, but it's not clear in this statement

He's so annoying

He's usually right.

Meh, he goes on about the 7 step drops, and they usually result in a big plays.

Guess what if Deebo does not turn around or he falls on that play there is a safety right there to intercept the ball.

Oh my gosh dude you can say that about almost any pass play. It was a baller read and great anticipation and it worked! Why dwell on what could have been

I'm not saying that in a negative way, it was a baller play.

You can "what if" on virtually every play.

I don't know what your talking about?

CMC was the read on that play and it worked out with a tuddy on the drive, but if Brock hit him in stride, that would have been 6.

That basic concept, CMC is #2. It's 1 to the basic route, 2 to the rail route. If it was easier to post a pic from my phone I'd show it from the playbook
Appreciate what we have:

If he would have hit who in stride? CMC? I must be missing something because that pass in the video is the definition of "in stride" lol.

you're missing the difference between throwing it up to an area and throwing a dot

One of the dumbest things I've read. CMC sprinted out of his break. CMC continued sprinting as he ran under the ball. CMC caught the ball without adjusting the length of his stride.

again, the definition of "in stride"

of all the plays to criticize, choosing that one is f**king bananas. Much more effective to say something along the lines of "Brock purdy isn't good enough and nothing he does will change my mind"

plenty of mediocre play from Brock to criticize… stop being lazy and find the ones that actually support your argument

For sure. Never even heard of it.

I do know softball pretty well though, and if you keep pitching them I'm going to continue knocking them out of the park 👍🏻

Chase Daniel has no clue either

At the 12 minute mark:

Chase: "this is the best throw youre going to see all day long"
Chase: "it drops in the bucket perfectly"
Chase: "watch this throw right here"
Chase: "it doesnt get any harder than that"
Chase: "gets hit right when he lets it go, he cant throw it any better"

49allthetime: "chase doesnt know the difference between throwing it up and throwing a dime!"
