Guess what if Deebo does not turn around or he falls on that play there is a safety right there to intercept the ball.
That's what receiver-QB chemistry is all about. Purdy demonstrates an awareness of Deebo's hustle ability in that situation.
I'm guessing if that's a less physical receiver he doesn't make the throw (or at least waits a tick to see if he can make the cut).

CMC was the read on that play and it worked out with a tuddy on the drive, but if Brock hit him in stride, that would have been 6.
If he would have hit who in stride? CMC? I must be missing something because that pass in the video is the definition of "in stride" lol.

One of the dumbest things I've read. CMC sprinted out of his break. CMC continued sprinting as he ran under the ball. CMC caught the ball without adjusting the length of his stride.

Apparently the point is to dig in his heels over a nonsensical position of throwing a "dot". Like I said earlier, a dumb take given the both context and result of the play.
