What's odd is that it seems like he used to be able to. Maybe I'm misremembering his first couple years.

He did. But those were against zone and with zone your WRs or TEs usually get free release so the timing is there. That's why we saw a lot of those passes last year where even though Wrs were not out of their break yet the ball was already out because its timing. It's harder to do that with man.

Look, Purdy was the last pick in the draft folks. We are getting/have gotten tremendous value from him if we look at it like this, on the field as well as dollar savings.

Now all that value dissappears if you pay him $60mil +. Do not make that mistake !!!!

I can see your point here but the one thing IMO the 49ers have squandered the extra money they have, they have not went all in like the DeBartolo back in the day.

Most the views showed no wr getting separation , I'm not defending Brock but without kittle our wr core got exposed minus Jennings who balled out

Brock is fine. Going through some struggles against man, but also clearly a QB you can build around. Get the man a better OL, please.

I don't care if they pay him $40m, $60m or $100m a year. It's not my money, and you pay the market rate unless you are rolling the dice with a rookie or a reclamation project. It's just what it is.
