Last in league seperation. Appreciate Brock. Kyle is in a rat hole. Fix it.
%3D

Lombardi is paid to hype up 49ers QBs

He can't make up stats. Last is last. Kyle is not adjusting.

What is more likely Kyle (the coach that has been to two Superbowl's) forgot how to coach or the QB everyone said was being over hyped because of the coach and players is starting to come back down to earth.

Show me an easy throw Kyle schemed up for Purdy yesterday.

Not a check-down. Not the play on the goal line.

Go ahead.

Oh he had guys open, the problem was he was already running for his life lol

Well that's a totally different problem entirely. When the coach refuses to change protection rules, guys are going to be open for a second but no QB will see it on a consistent basis.

What I asked jcool to show me was for a play where Kyle SCHEMED up an easy throw for him.

Like the two screens that the Seattle OC used to settle Geno down on the first TD drive after the pick.

He's an overachiever. Played above his head last season. Great kid, made of the right stuff but he's not a 60M QB.

He lost the game yesterday vs Seattle. His brutal interception gift wrapped a TD for a desperate Seattle team.

Purdy could've iced the win but he sailed a ball 5 yard above Deebo's head. Those two plays gave Seattle the win.

Geno Smith wanted that game more.

Seattle did not score a TD after the INT.. It was a field goal. Purdy honestly only had three bad throws all game. They did impact the game but I put the last one more on Kyle. A better call would've forced Seattle to use a timeout at minimum and or got us close enough for a kick.

When you are the guy at QB who is set to get paid huge money and wants to be considered a top 10 QB you have to make the throws in key situations. Throwing high to Deebo was a drive killer. Let's be equally hard on all players when they screw up, particularly in game winning situations. The oline screwed up on some of those penalties but then got bailed out by Purdy and JJ. Too bad after Purdy's bad throw there was nothing the 49ers could do to bail him out.

And let's

Brock didn't have a great game, but the loss isn't on him. We must be watching different games, lol.
Seattle was sometimes using 7 men in coverage so Brock couldn't find anyone open other than Jennings. Jennings should sue for half of Aiyuk's and Deebo's salary. I don't understand why Kyle didn't try countering that coverage by sending CMC out on more routes instead of running him off tackle over and over. Let Mason do that.

Just watched the whole game as I wasn't able to earlier. Not understanding this criticism of Purdy. The INT was a deflection. 2nd and 11 throw at the end was not good but it was a one man route which is also a bad play call.

Seattle played a ton of man and we have zero route runners other than Pearsall who barely played. Jennings is Purdy's only reliable WR. Deebo is fat AF and now merely a gadget player (average one at that). CMC is no where near at full strength and Kyle is already back to ignoring Mason.

Poor pass protection and predictable play calling resulting too many 3rd and longs. Yet we still had a chance to win because of steady QB play and Purdy converting on 3rd down with his arm and legs. No idea what game some of you were watching.

Can't wait for Deebo to be off of this roster. Get a good center and more route runners and we will be fine.

Maybe Deebo will just retire and get bigger and have the great pregnant man promotional boxing match with Jake Paul.

But yes I don't get the criticism of Purdy. Is he perfect? Of course not. The throw to CMC looked like it was forced and probably shouldn't have been made. But yes it was tipped and it's also a bit of an exaggeration to say it was like one of Jimmy G's what was he looking at moments, seeing as how Jimmy G would somehow not even see a linebacker or someone right there to intercept it and it didn't have to worry about being tipped, it would just be picked cleanly.

But that's the game today. Dumbed down fans think every win is because of the quarterback and so is every loss. That sounds a little harsh and of course it doesn't apply to everyone here or elsewhere. But it's probably not that inaccurate either.

Look at how much the gap has narrowed between Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the QB field the past couple of years or so as he's had meh receivers to throw too. Yes he threw 3 touchdown passes today. He also threw 2 picks, including one that ended the game, basically, and has thrown 11 picks this year through10 games.

Purdy is the reason we have any hope whatsoever on offense. And that isn't to say he's been perfect. But with what he's faced this year, he's played his butt off.

Exactly all of this.

I said that in the second half, why not put CMC in slot and have Mason back there?... Its like he has no new ideas because he probably has zero time or energy to do it. He is def not as good this year.

Minor detail lol. And "brutal" interception.

I know of one..it was swing pass to CMC. I remember thinking "oh good an easy pass to get into rhythm" but it was negated by a holding penalty, I think on JJ.

We have not been good this year. simple as that.

Yep. That was the only one I remember. He had another one called back by penalty.

Two just isn't enough.

This has definitely not been a good year going ll the way back to camp. Holdouts by Williams and Aiyuk. CMC's unexpected tendinitis that kept him out of action. Pearsall getting shot. Aiyuk going down for the season. Same for Hargrave. Greenlaw still trying to get back in playing shape. New DC again.

Then you add the SB loss hangover and it adds up to a terrible year. It happens. Even during their great years in the 80s they would have an off year occasionally. Sometimes it's injuries and sometimes the team just can't ever get it going. It's hard for players to be at their best every week year after year. Maybe this is just an off year that we need to accept.

There was one play In particular where CMC was open across the middle, but Brock didn't look his way and Instead ran it up the middle himself for a few yards. For whatever reason, BP Is too focused on the big play and missing out on what is there to be had .
I guess we see how Purdy can overcome with everything going against him. Great QBs are still able to will their teams to victory in most cases.

No, we most likely won't make the playoffs this year, but we can see if Purdy can take the kid gloves off for the rest of the year and show he is the correct man for the job going forward. I want him to go out there every game with no fear and show he is worth every cent of his next contract.
