They're trying to win a football game

I know right. Do fans want to win or do they want to call it a season. Because Arizona is gonna play Philly tomorrow and I don't see them winning that game and that would make the division still within reach.

Ya you just can't do that. That's not the culture Kyle has set here. That's a slap in the face of every other player that's out there playing injured, and there's a lot of them this season.

Yah I was pretty hard on Fred Warner till I learned he's playing with a fractured ankle. These guys want to win they could give a f**k about next season.

Ad hominems are a tipoff that you don't have an argument because you're wrong.

You lost me at "Shanahan and his staff are bad at coaching football".

How so? You think the sign of a well-coached team is penalty after penalty, injuries galore every year, horrible special teams play (Belichick and Parcells, in particular, are famous for obsessing over special teams), and horrible situational football?

Nothing I said can even be in dispute if you actually watch other teams play.

The homers are the people on here who think this team is "so talented." I don't think it's "so talented" at all. I think Brock is an elite QB and the team has had a good choice of defensive scheme, plus Kyle brings some good things system-wise coming from the WCO tree. I don't think he's a good play caller and I think he's bad coach...which is a distinction most won't understand.
FootballExpert49ers is just another crying PBM. KS is so bad he's top 8 in wins since COMPLETELY rebuilding the team from the ground up in 2017

2017 losing record is attributed to the 1st year of a rebuild
2018 losing record is attributed to losing the starting QB while still rebuilding
2020 losing record is attributed to losing much of the team's top talent to injury while also playing a first place schedule after a SB appearance.

every other year the team had a winning record with playoff appearances. that's not bad coaching.

2024 seems to be a 2020 redux with even more factors like the massive difference in rest compared to their opponents (playing teams coming off byes, short weeks, etc).

rest is one of THE most important factors for NFL players. if you dont understand that aspect, you have no idea what youre talking about.

Trivia time for the "it's all Brendel's fault" people: What season did Dan Marino, who is among the least sacked QBs of all-time in terms of sacks per attempt, set the record for lowest sack percentage in a season for a QB?

It was in 1988.

This was the year after Hall of Fame center Dwight Stephenson retired.

His new center was Jeff Dellenbach, who spent most of his career as a backup.

I could go on forever with this kind of stuff.

There is zero correlation between the caliber of linemen and QB sacks.

You're not going to protect Brock by getting a new center. The best you can hope to do is let him call protection adjustments against obvious blitzes.

Mike Martz had a lot of success with the Rams. Why isn't he somebody's head coach?

Never a head coach again after 2005.

not true. HC'd the Collegiate Bowl game's National team every year from 2015 - 2018 and won every one of them. then seemingly retired from coaching.

Only the football experts can grasp this concept.
