QB Brock Purdy Thread

Missed kick and juice fumble made it look worse than it was. Fumble would have blown the game open anyways. He gotta figure out that ball slip

I wanted to believe that Purdy is the guy, but he's not making a good case for $60 million dollars a year. He doesn't appear to be a guy who can elevate the team like a lot of top 10 QB's can. It's going to be interesting to see what they do with him this offseason.

Guys like Ben Rothelisberger, Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lemur Jackson, and several others were picked as low as 7 overall and 32nd overall. I'm very good with spending our first round pick on a QB and not paying Purdy. Maybe even use it to move up higher? We're looking to be in that 6-22 range. Maybe later

Thank goodness we weren't allowed to give him a contract last off season. He sucks so bad this year I wouldn't be surprised if John Deere, Toyota, and Applebees drop him. It was a nice story, but the madness of him being our starter is over

I had the hot take last year that he sucks only throws short passes or blown coverage off a play action his ball is looping and not accurate nfl is the real deal this is almost option s**t. It made the team unwatchable. Garropolo especially his last season and first season pushed the ball downfield it's what he did. He wasn't mobile and got hurt easy but actually throwing a ball he was way better than purdy. Purdy for an nfl starter has some of the worst arm talent I have ever seen. He is mobile and smart but you need more than that. I watch qbs I watch to see if they throw we downfield. If they can't do that time to go. I get short s**t but you have to have the ability to go downfield. I won't watch another brock purdy game I'll come back to sf when they replace him everyone else should do the same.

I don't know what's going on, but he definitely doesn't look the same. Very indecisive. Not seeing the field well, seems reluctant to throw at times.

That what losing does. Smart fans can sift through the nonsense and see what's really at fault. I'd say Kyle has been a good coach for us that has coached poorly this year. Should he be fired this year? Imo no. He has shown that he can do this at the highest level. This is a super depressing and down year, but give him a chance to retool and rebuild.

I've seen Kyle win alot of games with multiple different QBs. I do think it's time to move on from Purdy and I'm a very optimistic person. That is one fix action that needs to be implemented this offseason. Do not pay him. People want to find a better HC, well I still want to search for that elite QB. Do not pull an Eagles move from the early 2000s and fire a great coach because of a poor season or two. Kyle can do this. Just needs to fix this in the offseason

Purdy looks like he has not only never played in snow but that like he has never ever seen snow.

I dunno kinda think lynch and shanahan need to go. There talent evaluation lately and decisions in personnel have been ridiculous.

Trey lance I am from north dakota and from watching him here said no way he can play nfl. His ball sucks. Giving aiyuk a contract common nothing aiyuk has ever done is at the elite level. Solid player but not elite.
Brock purdy common it was fine when he came in for 3rd string to save season but no way should he ever been starter he is 3rd string camp arm guy it's what he is

He has always been throw that quick checkdown if it's not there trouble time

The difference between purdy & Allen tonight was wild. I understand Allen is probably a top 3 guy but they looked galaxies apart.
