Darnold is certainly more capable of all the throws. brock plays a lil less robotic. they are about equally good. darnold himself figures to get paid. by whom remains to be seen. we are paying brock.

by that logic if purdy was an upgrade he would have shown it. he was not even dressing. it took 2 injuries for brock to play.

Brock will get paid but I suspect he might end up sinking in Shanny's ship. Once upon a time, Jimmy was the highest paid quarterback, and not deservedly so. At the minimum I hope we draft someone that could possibly be a diamond in the rough that we can develop.
it's clear Brock is not at the level of Mahomes, Jackson, Allen. And he's obviously regressed from last year which is disturbing…
