Losing your two most trusted weapons will do that.

Weapons come and go for guys like Mahomes, Allen, and Jackson, yet they keep the offense afloat by themselves sometimes. Purdy does not have that in him sadly

I believe jimmy was better at least he made us dangerous over the top and he was quick on his release

lol
Kittle saying he was open plenty of times doesn't look good.. I know he's not going to directly rag on Purdy but obviously Brock didn't have a great game.

I've been a big believer in Brock, but he's been statistically average at best this year, with a dash of awful in between.

13 passing TD, 8 INT, 61% completion, 7 fumbles (3 lost), 4 rush TD

You can't pay 60 million for that.

I'm wondering if moon is right. Did Kyle regress him? I feel like every qb under Kyle starts out well then regresses and looks lost over time. I don't know why iin just spit-balling.

In all 3 cases, those QBs had talent around them.

100% wrong. A HOF QB would have this team with a winning record.

Goff is also playing behind the league's best OL. The Lions win in the trenches on offense. Has really helped Goff take his game to a higher level.

The Lions were smart and made it a priority to ensure they got good OL talent across the board to protect their QB1. Wish the Niners would do the same for Purdy.
This doesn't get emphasized enough.

While he hasn't been great bo no means I don't think he's been bad either. At least half of his INTs are off of deflections.

From my perspective at the beginning of the year he got away from being what he had been. Getting the ball out and taking what the defense was giving. No matter what level of the field. This year to me, he was big game hunting. Looking for the big chunk plays instead of hitting the open guys. He also seems to lock in to receivers this year unlike last year.

Hes having a worse season than our backup QB last year. That speaks volumes IMO. Brock lost a ton of money this year. If the niners pay him top dollar they are looking for trouble.
Why does everybody keep saying 60mill?
13 passing TDs just doesn't cut it. He's also the curious case where he makes some players around him better (like Jennings) while others have not been better with him (like Deebo).

The small hands, wet ball stuff is a problem too. And it seems to happen to him quite a bit in good conditions.

AND he also has Ben Johnson calling his plays

He requires the perfect team, perfect circumstances, and perfect weather to be elite. I would wait a year to give him a extension.

Guess he isn't the real deal then
