This is absolutely false. Like, statistically proven and on film false.

That's the KS offense.
Baker is 30 mil a year, same with Gino. Brock's comp is Baker but obviously hes just not as good as Baker.

Give Brock 30m per year meanwhile go find your stud QB to develop behind Purdy.

Done deal.

Didn't see this until after I posted my new post. 100% agreed, 30mil per year is a great amount for both sides. 👍

I'd be happy with 30 million. Great deal for both sides. Either way he will cash in next year very down year with all the injuries. Our opponent for next year don't lol to bad besides Texans and our divisional games.

Not this season unfortunately. Last season we were what, first in YAC? Now we're bottom five?

Brock is a fairly simple guy who probably never thought he would play in a SB. It really comes down to his agent. Realistically $30 million would be fair in ths market. He's good but not a top 5 QB. Maybe he's about 8 to 10.

I think him being top 10 is fair at this time. No idea on price, but 30 million is half of 60 which allows the team to build better around him so that sounds good to me.
Great debate on 95.7 about Brock, or the Goldilocks man. Things gotta be just right for the guy. Not too cold, not too wet, not too hot, but just right.
why do we have to pay him at all? Who are the 49ers negotiating against? The titans? The hawks? Who's gonna be in the running for Brock? If the 49ers played hard ball with him and told him, hey, go look at your options out there. We'll be right here. If we did that who's gonna be fighting the 49ers for Brock?

95.7 played an interview with baldinger explaining the conversation he had with Tom Brady over Brock. Brady kinda laid into him. "I don't want to hear about you missing weapons. It's your job to elevate who's on the field. It's your job to throw your guys open."

This is spot-on. No other team that's worth playing for is going to offer Brock top dollar. He knows that we're the right—and perhaps only—fit for him. He isn't going to get the enormous payday that some of you guys think. Perhaps $30 - $40 million.

Yep. Cannot pay this dude as much as the last QB that got paid. Hopefully the niners are smart about it after we got hustled by aiyuk, cmc & trent

Baker gets 30 per year and he's better than Purdy.

Purdy is in the 20-25 range. If he needs off season surgery that number vanishes and quite honestly they probably should just let him walk.

I would say start at 25, but be willing to go to 30. Any lower is quite a bit of disrespect.

It's only disrespect if someone else is willing to pay him. What if no one else is even looking at him?
Do we really want to go into an offseason with no QB? We will franchise tag him if need be but we aren't just letting him walk. Shanny has picked 4 QB's and has done a pretty s**t job so far. Does anybody trust him to pick a 5th QB?
