OF COURSE he's better.

Stat Paddy is 32nd in air yards per attempt and 32nd in air yards per completion.

How is this still not sinking in? Stat Paddy is the ultimate product of a system.

I know you've been brainwashed by NFL PR department propaganda, but it's time to pull your head out of your ass.
System?

the wait and scramble system?

You could have said Tua has been better in YPA since Hill was with Miami. That would be accurate, though fairly meaningless given it's a single statistic. What you said again was:

Tyreek Hill went to Miami and now Tua's numbers look like Stat Paddy's used to.

This isn't remotely close to accurate. Not since Hill has left KC and not even close when he was there.

I'm sorry that you're so invested in Purdy that it leads you to say really stupid things like this.

The important numbers do. He went from 6.8 yards per attempt to 8.9 the very next year. Speaks for itself.

Stat Paddy is not relevant without his defense and special teams now.

The Andy Reid WCO, as he learned it from Mike Holmgren. Pick plays galore to get receivers wide open underneath. The system where he got Matt Moore off coaching HS football and nearly went 2-0 against 2 playoff teams in 2019. The system where he made people forget Michael Prick can't throw. The system that hid Donovan McNabb's mediocrity for years. The system where he went on a winning stretch with A.J. Feeley and Koy Detmer.

Oh, the 'important' numbers do. YPA is the end all be all of QB play.

Like I said initially… LOL.

That's a nice anecdote, but what's happening on the field is the Russell Wilson Seattle special. Nearly every play is a broken play
Lamar, not a real qb
Let me guess, "Expert" probs thinks Elway is one of the greatest of all time.

I guess that would depend on where he ranks in YPA or AirY/A.

Elway is one of the greatest of all time.

Elway is. he would be the prototype Shanahan QB. as evidenced by Elway with Mike Shanahan.

Yea been there and done that. It's like a litmus test for people who put too much weight on basic, team dependent, statistics.

It's football. There isn't one meaningful QB statistic that isn't "team dependent."

Elway was and may still be the greatest QB prospect of all-time. It simply did not translate in the NFL.

Yes it did though, lol. And within his own career you can find clear examples of why statistical comparisons can be shallow or misleading.

You're almost getting it.

He was on a bad team for years.

Lamar is not a great QB right now in my opinion. When he wins games in the playoffs with his arm give me a call.
