idk if it's doubt or whatever you want to call it.. i just wanted him to get back to the Brock i used to know.. and today is a step in the right direction.
Purdy was great but to be fair, guys *were* running wide open all over the field. I am shocked Chicago played zone almost all day when we destroy that. Every team who stopped us won with man.

nah there was man out there also.

the difference was that purdy actually started throwing and trusting his guys. once that happened, it opened up the rest of the plays

I still need to see more.

From who, Daniel Jones?

No, just need to see more consistency for a period of time before anointing someone as our FQB from a few games or 1 season of good/great play. Recently seen it too much to jump to conclusions.. that being said, he'll probably get paid and nothing is wrong with that since hes done work. I still want to see more from him but that's my opinion... you guys can claim him as how ever you see him since thats your opinions and I respect that.
Brock played a helluva game.. But let's be real.. The bears are trash.. And they played zone all day. Brock has been a. 500 qb since the Ravens game last year. He still needs to prove it imo..
Jalen Hurts got paid. Tua got paid. Purdy is going to get paid. He has earned it and deserves it. He hasn't been the primary problem this year. KS has put him in a tough spot by not scheming many guys open (Purdy has the most tight window throws/completions), calling very little screens (the least amount in the NFL), and using way too much shotgun passing. The defense has also been inconsistent and the ST has been a disaster. Tough year all around.

He's not Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson or Pat Mahomes but after those 3 he's somewhere within that next crop.

Bears pass defense was Top 5 for the year coming into the game.
Someone said franchise tag him..

Purdy had a really good game but keep in mind last week the Bears DC Eric Washington was the Bears D-Line coach (Matt Eberflus was calling the D). Real test will be on a short week against the Rams.
