Take away Lamar Jackson and Baltimore's QB room is pathetic. Same for Mahomes and KC.
What point are you attempting to make here?
If you take away most team's starting QB, their QB room becomes pathetic. Including ours.
If our team is healthy we can get by on our back ups
Are you out of your mind? The 49ers can get by with Brandon Allen and Josh Dobbs "if our team is healthy" (whatever that means)?
You've seen it first hand in 2022, well I assume you did
The lack of quality combined with the sheer volume of how much you post has made NT unbearable these days.
Jimmy G in 2022 was light years better than Brandon Allen and Josh Dobbs are now. Brock Purdy was a godsend in 2022.
Stop trying to discredit Brock Purdy. We all know you have some unhealthy obsession with Kyle Shanahan but get real.
"These days?" This has been going on for a decade with 49att lol. I thought for sure that us drafting and having a franchise QB like Purdy would get him over the hump. But... nope.
I see comprehension isn't working for you guys
Nothing in any way have I said/implied that Purdy is an issue on this current topic with teams playing backups
lol
So you implying that we would be fine with a backup QB if the rest of the team was healthy is not a knock on Purdy? Lol okay.
We don't know what this team looks like healthy...
If everyone was "peak" performance mode....yeah I think this is a winning team with a back up QB. Hell Shanny had a run with Mullins looking like the second coming of Dan Marino and was flirting with a 300 yards a game season. It's plausible a backup QB could have a winning run if everyone was healthy and performing well enough.
That is almost a fantasy in the NFL...injuries are a thing, and this schedule is brutal. I have never seen so many short weeks, and one team playing so many teams coming off their bye weeks.
Brock will be fine, they will circle the wagons for next season. This is a blessing in disguise...Brock is getting a crash course in adversity...I am sure in the long run he will be better for it. Let's hope the powers that be, recognize what they have in Brock and build the team out in a more traditional manner next season
