Alex in KC was as good as Jimmy if not better. No comparison between him and Hoyer Mullins or Beathard.

What's his record with the Kevin Kolbs of the world.

Alex Smith was not better than Jimmy. Let's put that debate to rest…

most teams wouldn't have the patience for Alex. he was a dud for 6 years. that's a long time.

No team had the patience for Alex. They all had to pull the plug on him at some point

All these salaries in sports are insane nowadays. Only thing I can go with is it's not my money.

Maybe not directy but indirectly. The fans eventually pay either thru higher ticket prices or higher cable and streaming fees. In some ways we pay when players get so comfortavble and are afraid to play when slightly injured. More money doesn't make players better. This idea that ewvery player that signs a new deal has to make more than the other guy is unsustainable. Pay them fairly but not obscenely.

So who makes the rest of the money, the owners? No thanks
They said on the pregame that teams have only won 3 Super Bowls when their quarterback earned more than 13 percent of the salary cap: Steve Young, and Patrick Mahomes twice were the quarterbacks. Should Kyle take some of that credit? I don't think Young counts as 1994 was the first year of the cap, and we all know how teams slide money, and we kind of invented that that year.

I love Brock, but here's the numbers. The projected cap for 2025 is $265-275m. At $275, 13 percent is $37.75m. Did we miss the boat? We're going to need an awful lot of rookie instant superstars in a big hurry, or we're on the wrong track.

That Aiyuk deal was counter productive. Would have rather busted Brock's number than giving so much to Aiyuk. We need a reset.

You're right. $65M.

Nah better draft someone!
Let's just face it. Purdy just ain't it. He's a great story but the dude has no arm and is at his best with anticipation throws.
