That INT and the missed TD to Ricky were enormous plays in a must-win game. How could you justify paying him 60+ million?
Again, which other team would pay him that much? The rest of the NFL knows that he's a system QB.

In all seriousness, you pay him 20-30m a year NO MORE!!! It's obvious by now IF YOU'RE NOT A HOMER that he ranks below Baker Mayfield who absolutely has the come from behind moxie (11+ come from behinds already).

I feel like he may have fed into his own hype a bit or felt like he had to prove something this year.
Some of the decision making, especially when it comes to throwing deep instead of taking the best options have killed countless drives.
Injuries haven't helped, but if you want to get paid QB money you need to live up to it.
Hopefully this is an important stepping stone and learning year for him otherwise we're in trouble.

Yeah. Can't pay Purdy. Sorry, but a great QB would've won this game. He had a chance and blew it.

Yup, those plays were killer. His lack of arm talent showed up big time today. I like him a lot, but if a good young QB falls in the draft, we gotta think long and hard about bridging over to something better if it presents itself.

I always laugh when people say purdys arm is fine.... It's not and tonight shows why. An above average arm can make some of these plays work

If you're auditioning for star QB money, you fell on your face tonight Brock. I never ever feel like any of this guys deep throws will connect. Ball is in the air forever. He doesn't have any arm talent what so ever.
