That may be true, but that doesn't mean you overpay him.

Tell that to the Jets!!!!

That sounds eerily familiar to a Jimmy G take. We won with him. And we all know he sucks and for some it took sucking in another system to realize it.

And yes, Brock is way better than him before the pitchforks come at me lol

can't compare to a guy at the end of his career coming off injury. A brock contract will be betting on his upside and the dollars will reflect that, right or wrong

And with that said he's still 100 yards away from Patrick Mahomes.

Who's team is 12-1

team sport

Swap qbs and do you think they would be 12-1 with purdy?

He'll probably get Tua money, or less. That's the going rate. It could even be much lower, but I'd be surprised, since SF like to take care of their players. I'm very confident that the structure will be very team friendly with outs, and there is evidence with the Lenoir contract, which is really, really team friendly.

You can offer. 0 chance Brock signs

Read the full post. He's already signed for next season. The goal is to buy another year to look without breaking the bank… especially before we can see him test the market.

He's not playing on a final year. Moot point.

Then draft a QB and let him sit behind until Brock officially holds out. We need to sign Greenlaw and Hufanga after watching the game tonight.

I have always believed in Brock but I want those guys more right now, if you see how much better the D was tonight. I also have baggage from the Deebo and Ayuik signing for top dollar.

Brock is alot more humble but his agent will drive him. I want to see Brock do well next year but we have important pieces we need to get signed.

Do what the Ravens did with Lamar, non exclusive Franchise tag.

Purdy can be free to negotiate with other teams, we can match the offer if we want. If we don't match we get two 1st round picks. If nobody bites he will make around 40 mil for that season with us, which is fair.

I agree can you please talk with Lynch and Jed...LOL. We see this and hopefully they do as well. Even if he got the interest we would get the picks trade up for baby Prime if we have to.

We could get Dre and Huff signed. Kyle could get us to the superbowl with jimmy G so he can get there with a rookie who has more potential than Jimmy.

Purdy is not as good as mahomes, that's not even a serious question. But this season their defense is a much bigger contributor to wins.

Obviously Mahomes is considerably better than Purdy. We're going to have to settle for a lesser QB one way or another, lol.

In short, yes…pat mahomie isn't even pat homie this year.
I dare say, put Jimmy G on the 2024 chiefs and they're at least 11-2.
Im context, this year is an exception for mahomie…
To be a winner in this league, you have to do 2 things as a QB:
1. Score points
2. Win games

Brock is a very likable guy, but he is not a winner.

Time to move on and try and find someone in the draft.
That int my goodness

How so? Purdy is better in literally every metric. For most of last season Purdy was as far ahead in yards per attempt as Steve Young was ahead of Ryan Leaf in 1998.

Stat Paddy does nothing but dump it off to wide open receivers in Andy Reid's system. He's the most obvious product of a system in history, yet fans still buy the media hype that was contrived the moment they saw the Chiefs draft him. The media you forget that he was never in the discussion for being the top QB in his class; it was between DeShaun Watson and Mitch Trubisky. After they saw the Chiefs took him, they knowingly promoted him on the basis of the fact that Andy Reid succeeds with every mediocre QB he touches.

Absolutely no QB would be able to succeed on the Raiders. It's not an indictment of Jimmy.

Additionally, the Jimmy post-ankle sprain is not the Jimmy of 2019. Not even close. His accuracy was destroyed when he couldn't push off anymore. You can see it in his mechanics.

Just like you can see that Brock's arm is f**ked up by the way he is throwing all kinds of wobblers he never used to throw, struggling to get it 40 yards when he used to have 55 yard range, and sailing balls 10 yards over the heads of receivers 2 yards away from him.

He's 23-11 as a starter (doesn't include the Dolphins game he played 75% of), and 4-2 as a starter in the playoffs (including the Eagles game he played less than 25% of).

By definition he's more of a winner than not. Being 6-7 this season as a starter is obviously not good enough, but the haste to which people want to throw the guy in the trash heap is cynicism at its worst.

IMO, upgrading his Center will go further to improve this offense than replacing the QB. Does he have faults to work on? Of course. His biggest negative trend this year is passing on the easier, methodical underneath passes for the lower % deep shot. It sank him tonight in particular. Let's see if he can rebound and improve on this.

If we can get good value for him (two highish firsts for example) from a desperate team then I say trade him. He's decent, but he's had too many games now where he just can't get the job done. I'm not sure he's worth the top money he will undoubtedly demand
