you know more than anyone, the aav doesn't mean jack. gonna be an out in the deal

It's about GTD $ and the length of the deal. Josh was a 6yr deal and Tua's was a 4 yr deal. Tua got damn near the same about GTD at the signing and has a higher practical GTD number than Josh.

as long as the QB is elite…it doesn't matter, you can just keep restructuring and give extensions to constantly lower the cap hit when it gets out of control. Example Mahomes and Allen.

The problem is when you're QB isn't amazing and you're trying to navigate building a roster with a QB eating up a big % of your cap and he's not fulfilling his end of the deal.

If he doesn't imrove over the next few years they'll be looking for another QB. I don't expect him to improve alot. I think what we see is what he is. A QB that can have somee really good games and also a few really bad games, especially when the weather is bad. He's definitely better when he has his full cast (most QBs are) but he hasn't shown that he can overcome a lot of adversity. His deep passes are consistently underthrown or hang in the air too long. It looks like his velocity has dropped off a bit so I'm not convinced hus shouder is completely right.

They can't make him the highest paid QB, it's also gonna come down to that real $$.

He should have a s**t ton of incentives and there's gotta be some sort of easy out in the deal.

if he wants to be the highest paid QB in football (which I doubt), then let him play out his rookie deal and tag him.

I they may let him play out his contract after the so-so year he had this season. If he bounces back the next season thay can make him a fair offer. There's no way he should be the higherst paid QB. He's not even top 10 the way he's played ths season. At his best he's in the too 10 but not to 5.

I think he may be as good as he ever will be since it's hard to suddnely develop a stronger arm. He's not going to get bigger. He has 2 seasons plus the playoff games under his belt. In today's game that's a career. Plus we can't forget that he started 4 years in college. How much better can he get.

We felt that firsthand in 2020-2021.

Season on the line 2nd down... Brock Purdy... YOLO

Yeah, I have said this before, he is trying to do too much and trying to overcompensate for all of the things that go wrong or have gone wrong with the team. But yeah, just take what is there, he knows how to do that.

I mean it not like we've gotten blown out and he's gotta sling it all over the field because we're down 3 scores every week.

2nd & 10 right outside the RZ in a 3 pt game with like 5min left. He's got two check downs sitting there, but instead floats it out into double coverage

he's simply not seeing the field correctly. There was absolutely no reason to throw the ball there. It's been an ongoing thing this yr and even last yr when some of those plays were working, it was dicey and not a high % throw.

Brock's gotta be better going forward

This. More excuses from Wbzers. A 60 million dollar QB over comes team injuries and limited talent.

That's literally nobody in the league right now

That happens every year. Jordan Love is 7-4 his leading WR is Jayden Reed with 693 yards (on pace for 900 yards) in just 7 starts (13 games). There best WR Christian Watson has missed 3 games with injuries and had inconsistent play.
The offensive line is severely impacting his play. They better upgrade it. Neglecting it this year is probably the biggest reason why they're under performing.

This is a lot of teams right now. Maybe not so young but you can see it in all the teams that are punching their way into the playoffs including the got dam SeaClucks.

Thing is if Brock takes the check down instead of that Favre type of throw, the team would of had a better chance to win no matter how young the other team is. Just play fundamental football. I don't want my QB coming to the postgame interview after about every game saying "I've Got To Play Better"

He's been such a disappointment this season and Maybe he's not the QB we all thought he was? Season on the line and you do that? So frustrating to see.

I mean, that is the competitor in him, wanting to make the big play and sometimes that can lead to losing the sight of, I guess.."the grey area" of things. Just take what's there. Like I said, he knows how to do that. He knows how to balance things out but sometimes, that competitor side can get the best of people's decisions. Sometimes, those gutsy, willed decisions can really work out, sometimes, yeah, it's hero ball. Just trying to do too much. Sometimes we don't need the dawg, we just need to make a completion to keep going down the field.

brock is tied to shanny. we are keeping shanny. and shanny has ran his O thru brock 2022, 2023 and 2024. shanny and lynch will tell you openly brock is their guy. that's all there is to it. don't expect changes other than a big new deal.

Their best receiver isn't Christian Watson, it's Jayden Reed. And lets not act like Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks are chumps too. Lets not forget Josh Jacobs, one of the best RB's in the league. Green Bay is stacked.
