you know i mentioned him in weather being an issue, and i had ppl jump down me, but now i see everyone mentioning it

Stafford had the same issues last night. He made some things work but not until the 49er defense was further depleted than at the start of the game.

lol, right, you're the first to identify this issue

Every pass he throws is not accurate. He's so much better in zone by anticipating. I don't remember ever seeing him throw a back shoulder pass.

He has certainly done it. He threw multiple back shoulder passes last season. Singled up man coverage. I distinctly remember an absolute beauty he threw to Aiyuk on the left sideline. Can't quite remember which game it was otherwise I'd link it.

Rain is true, but guys dropping very accurate passes is on them, not the qb.

He did that a few times this year. I agree he is not as good this year, but the o line sucks and the receivers are not man beaters.

As far as salary I have no idea. If Baker makes 33 and the top make 55-60 I think 45-50 is what could happen.

i'm not even saying i'm the first. i'm just saying that this past week, ppl have given me pushback and saying it's a myth. yet it is not a myth. i am hearing it from many fans and radio.

Fair, but I still believes he struggles in man coverage. Otherwise, all the teams we've been plating lately wouldn't be plsying man

Yea, I don't know about that my man. It looked that way for about 2/3 of last season.

I don't believe that either, even so, that doesn't mean those other teams haven't crippled their teams for the future. What did the Saints accomplish by signing D Carr?

He also threw one to Deebo I wanna say against AZ last year. I swear a lot here just talk out their asses and seem to not watch the games and just have dislike for players and coaches for their personal agenda

I'm with you there. Other teams' mistakes should be learned from, not repeated. We have our own example under this regime in Jimmy though the circumstances were different.

The bottom line to me is we don't know what Brock really is as a player and he lacks the type of ceiling a lot of teams would typically bet on. One more year would be really nice. A shorter team deal with outs would be also be fine.

i don't believe there is any crippling going on, cuz the contracts aren't gtd. take Daniel Jones. he signs 4 years $160m, and he got hurt in 2023 and cut midseason 2024. so it's not 4 years. it's kind of a we take this as we go. if you play well, great. if you don't, see ya. that's how these deals work. the cap can be managed in a large variety of ways. heck you see denver absorb a like $80m dead cap hit and they are balling with their new QB1. ppl fear the contract and make more of a deal than it is. it's just brock getting some real pay for a change, that's all it is.

No it isn't. It's about value, and how to best maximize resources.

I think we would've learned a lot this year since Shanahan was going more straight drop back/far less play action - I believe just to see if Purdy could take the next step and handle more of the load. Unfortunately, this season has been pretty much a complete wash that I'm not ready to make any conclusions. Well....there are exceptions.....starting with the Oline.
He's NOT worth 60M a year!

I think he's very good and we can win w/him. But, IMO, we need better OLine.

I also think many teams have caught up to KS play calling.
