Yah did you see Kyle Murray win all those playoff games, how we wish Brock Purdy was that clutch.

I'm not as high on Brock as I was prior to the season, but I also recognize his decline is likely to be just as much Kyle's fault, along with an offensive roster that hasn't been remotely the same week to week. A rhythm qb that can't establish chemistry with his skill positions is a difficult thing to overcome.

the only QBs I'd consider undoubtedly better than Brock in our system are Allen, mahomes and burrow. I'm not sure if Brock is a top-10 qb, but only three would I take without question.

lamar, j.Daniel's, stroud, stafford, and love are in the same category… but there's no telling who's better among them.

Brock has done a pretty good Jimmy impersonation at times this year though. That makes me a little nervous about a huge contract. Not sure there's any other decent option though.

If you asked me right now to pick Kyler or Brock as niners QB, all day I'm taking Kyler.

To be clear I don't think Kyler is some elite QB. But given the choice of the 2, choice is clear to me

I've seen Purdy produce more big game moments and make more plays down the stretch in two years then Kyler has had in his entire career and I'm quite confident in saying that I've watched a lot more games of Murray than you have.

Murray has a lot more hype and more people willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he was a high draft pick but as soon as the games begin to actually matter, he reliably checks out and we just saw it again this year.

Beyond that I don't think the 49ers or any team would ever need to discuss a contract clause requiring Purdy to actually watch film.

I personally would move on from Purdy. Let him go elsewhere and score on average 10-12 points each game.

Kyler Murray has had one winning season. 34-43-1 enough said.
