QB Brock Purdy Thread

I don't know much about the draft yet. I did hear on the Heisman show last night that this is a defense draft. Not like last year the first half could lean heavily to defense. This gives us a shot to get a decent OL player. Knock on wood.

Between the scheme, playcalling, offensive players, and Purdy himself they've got to get that solved or we won't be winning a lombardy anytime soon.

This is a huge red flag. Huge.

Yeah for sure especially in Kyle's scheme known for attacking man to man coverages. Especially with our top receivers being healthy and know. Man-beaters. No excuses for Brock… red flag! Huge

that really means you have to have a top 5 pick to get OL
How is baker only making 33 mil. That's what Brock should be paid…

A lot of the man to man has to do with WR's getting seperation. Kittle seems to do fine with it.

I beg to differ.

If Kyle wants to do that, he needs more guys like Aiyuk who run precise patterns, and fewer guys like Deebo and JJ. When BA went down, there was no one who could attack man. Piersall was supposed to augment that but we know how that turned out. It wasn't Purdy's fault the receivers couldn't separate against man.

The last 2 games show this. Bears play mostly zone and they we look like contenders. Rams play mostly man and Brock barely looks average. Sad part is they are talking about investing over 50 million in a guy who struggles versus man. How much have they spent on Deebo and JJ? Neither guy can best man coverage. How much spent on on an injured BA? And we just spent draft capital on 2 wrs. And yet the problem still persists.

more and more evidence is showing that there is separation in man, but the issue is also not hitting the guys open in zone.

man or zone, the field is not being seen as good as years past. can it be fixed.. don't know and we have to pay huge on a prayer that he gets back to normal

I'm gonna bet on Brock. I say that because this team has been decimated with injuries,

That was pretty heavy sarcasm from 5thSFG, lol

I personally would move on from Purdy. Let him go elsewhere and score on average 10-12 points each game.

And get who?
