And get who?
Dobbs..

Baker
I like Brock but I'm trying to understand something here....

Fans and media say that when he doesn't play well, it's because he is missing his weapons. BUT we are able to have these weapons because of his rookie contract. So if we sign him to a big contract (and we have BOI predicting that we sign him to a 60mil per year deal), we are not going to be able to keep some of these weapons. Or sign weapons to replace them, new weapons as good as his past weapons. We are not going to be able to get those kinds of players on cheap contracts.

Before this season, I believed that Brock could play with not so good weapons. Like how Brady did in his first Super Bowl year... elevating players around him. That he didn't need elite players everywhere. Just give him some time, and he'll place the ball where it needs to be to keep the chains moving.

But this season's play (and the Super Bowl loss was the start of it) shows me that if we do have that kind of QB in Brock, we will not see that with Kyle Shanahan has HC/Offensive playcaller.

It would help if players like your son Deebo had any type of pride and played with some urgency and professionalism. Would also help if Purdy had WR's who actually fit his skill set and not Jimmy's.

Really wish they would get Jacob Cowing more time, he's got the speed to make plays anywhere on the field. I also wish they would elevate Russell Gage and get him some playing time over Chris Conley.

See this just seems like reaching. Which kind of WR skill set is best for Brock? Deebo usually catches that pass he dropped against the Rams. He does not all the sudden have some butter fingers. We have not lost games this season because Deebo dropped a bunch of passes.

Yall act like Brock has not played bad this season. Bad ints, missed TDs, etc. I don't totally blame him. I more so blame Kyle. Kyle has ignored the Oline for years. Kyle hasn't protected his players. Ran CMC into the ground last year, when he had a capable backup in Mason there to preserve CMC. Runs Deebo up the middle against big ass linemen. Ran Trey Lance up the middle until he got hurt. Had Brock still dropping back to pass in a blowout game, when the backup of the backup olinemen was injured.

No idea why Conley gets playing time.
