Just the basic, bone head plays, chokes in playoffs, is not good. And I agree with everything I could go on and on but besides the winning category which I would always give more credit to our weapons and our defense, he doesn't do anything special there's a lot of things that he's very deficient at but again I don't want to turn it into a Jimmy thread. I am all about Brock right now. I do think there should be a quarterback competition because of business and fairness, but Lance hast to take it from Brock. And Jimmy should no longer be a niner there's no reason to keep it.

The father put out controversial (and unfounded) articles in the pre-social media era, trying to provoke readers.

The younger Grant started out OK, IMHO. After getting a job at the same media outlet his father works for (ahem...), he actually wrote decent and well balanced articles about the 9ers.

Now, he has turned into a click bait machine (LIKE HIS FATHER BEFORE HIM). I can't stand listening to him because he is obnoxious, presents superficial arguments, and he will criticize your grandmother in order to get a click.

Don't start liking him yet... just because he's a fan of Brock, like us. If Brock becomes a mainstream success and unqualified #1 QB of the 9ers, Grant will find a way to create controversy around him. Why? So Cohn can get more clicks as usual.

IF Cohn has changed it is just a faint to lull you into a false sense of security to rope you in.

That's because the Cohns' (grant and lowell) game is to sense the way the wind is blowing, catch a ride on said wind, and get clicks based on controversial trash that the gen pub can get behind. Supporting Purdy creates a QB controversy with JG and Trey.

And it's a successful game since Grant has more subs than any other 49er content creator, despite outputting the most uninteresting trash.

If that was the case he wouldn't be so universally hated. Especially considering what he is pointing out about Purdy is exactly the things he consistently said Jimmy couldn't do, and was why he said the 49ers would never win a Super Bowl with Jimmy.

Fact one: 49ers players hate him because he's an entitled a*****e who treats them like numbers and not people, for example saying so-and-so is trash or has "old man knees," completely calloused to the reality of their situation and with zero compassion or awareness of the minutia that goes into their game.

Fact two: 49ers fans hate him because he's trashed 49ers players like Jimmy G.

So of course you're going to say he's changed his mind when he's being saying the SAME THINGS about Jimmy G FOR LITERAL YEARS, and Brock is doing the things he consistently said Jimmy couldn't do, and it's why the offense looks better. If ANYONE ELSE had that last opinion, that Brock is elevating the offense for the EXACT SAME REASONS Cohn says he is, you'd be 100% in agreement. But it's Cohn, so you must of course say he's following where the wind blows, even though he's literally been saying FOR YEARS that what Purdy is bringing has been missing.

Oh yeah, forgot also the ridiculous takes. 49ers fans hate him for saying things like, "The 49ers should trade George Kittle before he loses a step."

Anyway, I'm still nervous about Brock, because he looks a bit too good to be true. He needs to keep those mechanics in check though. When he's good with his footwork he's freaking deadly.
